تناولت الورقة واقع الصادرات السودانية غير البترولية للفترة من 2005 إلى 2015م من حيث حجمها ومساهمتها في الصادرات السودانية، وإبراز بعض المشاكل المتعلقة بأدائها. تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في أن هناك تدني في حجم وعائدات الصادرات غير البترولية وتذبذب حجم الصادرات من سنة لآخري، وان مساهمتها ما زالت دون المستوى المطلوب. اتبعت الورقة منهج التحليل الوصفي لتحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها من المصادر الثانوية. توصلت الورقة إلى وجود تذبذب في قيمة الصادرات غير البترولية خلال فترة الورقة بسبب تذبذب الأسعار العالمية وعدم جدوى السياسات الاقتصادية القائمة لمعالجة مشاكل الصادرات. أوصت الورقة بوضع استراتيجية لتنمية الصادرات غير النفطية تعمل على أكبر استفادة ممكنة من المنتجات الزراعية والصناعية مع توفير التمويل اللازم، بالإضافة إلى الاهتمام بصادرات الثروة الحيوانية كما ونوعا وتأمين التسويق للأسواق العالمية.
This paper investigated the role of the Sudanese non-petroleum exports during the period from 2005 to 2015 in terms of their volume and contribution to the Sudanese exports. The paper also aimed to shed more light on the difficulties encountering the performance of the same. The paper problem is well represented in the fact that, there is a decrease in the volume and earnings of non-petroleum exports due to the fact that, these exports depend largely on the surplus of the production, which causes some fluctuation in the volume of exports from one year to another, and still have a lower level of contribution among the Sudanese exports. The paper used the analytical descriptive approach and effect the collection of the field study data from the secondary sources. The paper findings have shown a fluctuation in the values of non-petroleum exports during said period, due to world price fluctuation and lack of feasibility of the economic policies currently being in force to resolve the problems relating to exports' issues. The research concluded with a set of recommendations, including the establishment of a strategy for the development of the nonpetroleum exports, and providing the necessary finance for the same, with a view to making the most possible benefit of the agricultural and industrial products to enhance the position of the non-petroleum exports. The research further highly recommended having particular attention to animal resources' exports in both terms of quantity and quality by improving the systems of veterinary care and guaranteeing animal product for the world markets.
