المستخلص: This paper highlights the extraordinary traits and exceptional qualities of leadership and management that characterized the Prophet's personality. According to the writer, the Prophet (pbuh) was not only endowed with an exceptional gift for management of human and other resources but he also had profoundest ability to assess, predict and plan challenging tasks in war and peace conditions. Moreover, he had the most superb ability to recognize peculiar personality traits of different individuals and assigned tasks accordingly. He delegated responsibility to those who were most competent for the task at hand. He planned things well in advance and consulted those of his Companions who qualified for it. He also displayed remarkable ability to assess and estimate the strength and weakness of his opponents in encountering them with successful strategic and tactical moves. The writer has marshalled relevant material from the sources of hadith and sirah to substantiate these traits that establish the Prophet's exceptional administrative genius.
