|b The current research attempts to investigate the phenomenon of heritage calling in the poetry of Bahaa Zuhair and to identify the resources that bear on his poetry. The study has revealed the variety of the sources upon which he drew; be it religious, literary or historical heritage. The predominance was found to be for the religious heritage whereas the historical one was rare in his poetry. The skill of Bahaa Zuhair lies in his ability to merge this heritage with the different topics of his poetry such as flirtation, pride, panegyric, satire, elegy, etc in such a way that renders his poetry more coherent and relevant to the context in which it occurs without imposing or insertion. As a result, his poetry is characterized by richness and specification, and his poetic discourse becomes more recipient-oriented.

|a يسعي هذا البحث إلى دراسة استدعاء التراث في شعر البهاء زهير، وتعرف الروافد التي ظهرت في شعره. وقد كشفت الدراسة عن تنوع مصادره ما بين تراث ديني وأدبي وتاريخي وإن كانت الغلبة للتراث الديني. أما التاريخي فقد ورد على استحياء في شعره. وتمكن براعة البهاء زهير في قدرته على مزج هذا التراث بموضوعات شعره المختلفة من غزل وفخر ومدح وهجاء ورثاء وغيرها، بحيث يأتي ملتحما وممتزجا بالسياق الذي ورد فيه دون فرض أو إقحام، مما يسهم في منح شعره ثراء وخصوصية، ويجعل خطابه الشعري أكثر ارتباطا بالمتلقي.
