المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث رواية الموت في بنيتها السحرية، ويحاول الكشف عن بعض أوجه تخيل الكتاب العرب للموت، وتصوراتهم الفكرية والفنية لفكرة الموت والتأمل فيها، وتوظيف بنية الواقعية السحرية لطرح عدد من الأفكار المتعلقة بالموت لإعادة صياغة المفاهيم والدلالات عبر تشكيلات فنية متنوعة، كما يهدف إلى تتبع الرؤى الفنية التي تضمنتها الروايات، والتشكيل الفني الذي جاءت فيه، للوصول إلى حقائق فنية ودلالات جديدة. وقد كشف البحث عن محورين أساسيين تناول الكتاب العرب من خلالهما قضية الموت، هما: الروح والسعي إلى الخلود، وقدمت الروايات في المحور الأول ما يتعلق بماهية الروح ورحلتها لمصيرها المحتوم، وكذلك علاقتها الشائكة مع الجسد الفاني. وفي المحور الثاني قدمت الروايات رؤية فنية تقدم شكلا من أشكال التصالح مع الموت، وكذلك شكلا آخر من الاستسلام له والخضوع لسطوته وجبروته. ويسعي البحث إلى استنطاق أربعة أعمال روائية بهدف الكشف عن مدى إمكانية الممارسة الروائية من تمثل هذه القضية الفكرية الشائكة والتعبير عنها بصورة فنية مع تقديم حقائق فنية وجمالية جديدة، تؤثر في الوعي العام وتدعوه لتجديد أدواته لفهم الكون من حوله، وذلك من خلال استقراء النصوص الروائية ورصد التقنيات الجمالية والأساليب الفنية من خلال التحليل والتفسير والتعليل للظواهر الجمالية البارزة في الروايات. فرضت أسئلة البحث وطبيعة الظاهرة المدروسة الجمع بين المنهجين الاجتماعي والجمالي، وقد تم توظيف المنهج الاجتماعي في الوقوف على رؤية الروايات، واستجلاء مضامينها للوقوف على الحقائق الفنية التي تقدمها، وعمل المنهج الفني على تتبع الكيفية التي عرضت فيها هذه الرؤى والمضامين، والأساليب الفنية المستخدمة.

This research deals with the novel of death in its magical structure. It attempts to uncover some aspects of the Arab writers' imagination of death, their intellectual and artistic perceptions of the idea of death and their meditation on it. In addition, it aims to reveal the use of the structure of realistic magic to put a number of ideas on death to rephrase concepts and connotations across various technical configurations, and to follow the artistic visions contained in the novels and the technical composition that came in to access the new technical facts and indications. The research discloses two main axes in which the Arab writers dealt with the issue of death: the soul and the pursuit of eternity. The narratives in the first axis presented the essence of the soul and its journey to its inevitable fate, as well as its thorny relationship with the transient body. In the second axis, the narratives presented an artistic vision of a form of reconciliation with death, as well as another form of surrender and submission to his demeanor and tyranny. The research seeks to explore four works of fiction in order to reveal the extent to which narrative practice can represent this thorny intellectual issue and express it in a technical way, while presenting new artistic and aesthetic facts that affect public awareness and invite them to renew their tools to understand the universe around them through the extrapolation onarrative texts and the monitoring of aesthetic techniques and technical methods through analysis, interpretation and explanation of the aesthetic outstanding phenomena in the novels. The research questions and the nature of the phenomenon studied imposed the combining of the social and aesthetic approaches. The social approach has been used to identify the vision of the narratives and to clarify their contents to find out the technical facts that they provide. The technical approach followed the way in which these visions, contents, and technical methods were presented.
