المستخلص: تعمل العلاقة الجنسية دورا مهما في بناء صورة الطاهر في مقابل النجس (الأممي الوثني)، فحصرتها الشريعة في الزواج كضابط مميز للجماعة اليهودية، من هذا المنطلق اعتبرت أحكام الزواج من أهم الأحكام التي تناولها المشرع اليهودي باسطا عليها هالة من القداسة وجملة من الاحترازات، تتمظهر في ذلك الاعتداد بأطراف العلاقة والسعي من أجل أن تكون على الوجه المطلوب متخذا منها صورة من صور المحافظة على الوصايا قصد الوصول إلى مقام التقديس. من بين هذه التمظهرات نجد التشريع لـــ:"زواج الرجل من زوجة أخيه المتوفي" والتي هي في أصلها "زواج الرجل بزوجة أخيه عموما ً"محرمة على اعتبار أنها عورة أخيه"، لكن قد تنتقل إلى الإباحة بشروط خاصة معلومة، على وجه الإلزام، والممتنع عن إتمامها من الطرفين (الأرملة والأخ أو حتى الأقارب)، يحدث حالة اللجوء إلى حكم "الحاليتساه" وهو إجراء عقابي للممتنع، وله تبعات من أهمها الحرمان من الميراث خاصة للزوجة، هذا الزواج يطلق عليه في التشريع اليهودي: "زواج اليبوم أو السلفات"، في هذا البحث سنتطرق على أهم ملامح هذا التشريع وشروطه وأثاره، مع خاتمة موجز لموقف بعض الطوائف اليهودية المعاصرة منه، وكذلك المسيحية والإسلام.
