المستخلص: L'étude vise à mettre en évidence les perspectives de l'industrie pharmaceutique en Algérie, vu les grands changements qui ont eu lieu sur le marché mondial. Ces changements peuvent être exprimés en termes de croissance lente sur les marchés matures, la part croissante des médicaments génériques et la montée en puissance des marchés émergents. Ce nouvel environnement international représente une réelle opportunité pour l'Algérie de développer et de promouvoir une industrie pharmaceutique locale qui contribuerait significativement à la réduction des coûts de la facture d'importation, qui enregistre une progression rapide en raison d'un certain nombre de facteurs notamment la transition démographique, la transition sanitaire, ainsi que l’extension de la couverture sociale qui couvre 85% de la population algérienne. Les mesures récentes concernant l’interdiction d'importer les médicaments produits localement, l’activation du rôle de l'Agence nationale des produits pharmaceutiques, montrent les efforts sérieux déployés par les autorités publiques pour protéger l'industrie pharmaceutique locale et renforcer sa compétitivité.

The study aims to highlight the future prospects of the pharmaceutical industry in Algeria, regarding the great changes that have been happening in the global market. These changes can be expressed in terms of the slow growth in mature markets, the rapid growth of generic drugs, and the rise of emerging markets. This new international environment represents a real opportunity for Algeria to develop and promote a local pharmaceutical industry that would contribute significantly to the reduction of the import bill costs, which are constantly being increased due to a number of factors, the most important of which are the demographic transition, and the map of the disease changes. Recent measures that have been used to forbid imports produced locally in medicines and, to activate the role of the National Pharmaceutical Agency, show the diligent and serious efforts of the public authorities in protecting local pharmaceutical industry and strengthening its competitiveness.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز الآفاق المستقبلية لصناعة الدواء في الجزائر، في ظل التحولات التي يعرفها السوق العالمي، أبرزها تباطؤ مستويات النمو في الأسواق الناضجة، النمو المتسارع لحصة الأدوية الجنيسة، والصعود الملفت للأسواق الناشئة. هذه البيئة الدولية الجديدة، تشكل فرصة حقيقية لتشجيع وترقية صناعة دوائية محلية تساهم بشكل كبير في تخفيض فاتورة الاستيراد التي تشهد تزايداً مستمراً بفعل جملة من العوامل أهمها التحول الديموغرافي، تغير خريطة المرض، إضافة إلى توسع مستويات التغطية الاجتماعية التي أصبحت تشمل 85% من إجمالي السكان في الجزائر. إن الإجراءات الأخيرة المتعلقة بمنع استيراد الأدوية المنتجة محلياً، وتفعيل دور الوكالة الوطنية للمنتجات الصيدلانية، توضح المساعي الحثيثة والجدية للسلطات العمومية في مجال حماية الصناعة الدوائية المحلية وتقوية تنافسيتها.
