المستخلص: This article is intended to analyze the perception of the Algerian leaders of the internationalised SMES toward the skills as a factor of internationalization, the study aims to select the profile of a leader who intervene in the conduct of the process of internationalization of Algerian SMES internationalized. For this, we distributed 42 questionnaires to the leaders of the Algerian SMES internationalized. The statistical analysis has enabled us to highlight the profile type of a leader to the International. The study has empirically demonstrated the fundamental role of the leader in the conduct of internationalisation of SMES, and through our sample, our results lead to a double contribution, identify the role of skills and determine the profile of a leader to the international has through the application of a genetic algorithm.

Cet article a pour objet d’analyser la perception des dirigeants algériens des PME internationalisées envers les compétences comme facteur d’internationalisation, l’étude vise à sélectionner le profil d’un dirigeant qui intervienne dans la conduite du processus d’internationalisation des PME algériennes internationalisées. Pour cela nous avons distribué 42 questionnaires auprès des dirigeants des PME algériennes internationalisées. L’analyse statistique nous a permis de faire ressortir le profil type d’un dirigeant à l’international. L'étude a démontré empiriquement le rôle fondamental du dirigeant dans la conduite d’internationalisation des PME, et à travers notre échantillon, nos résultats aboutissent à une double contribution, identifier le rôle des compétences et déterminer le profil d’un dirigeant à l’international a travers l’application d’un algorithme génétique.
