لم تكن بلاد الأندلس أقل خطأ من المشرق فيما يتعلق بمسألة الكتابة في الجانب التاريخي، التي تحدثت عنها وعن حكامها وعلمائها ومشاهيرها، الذين برزوا في كل جوانب المعرفة. إذ تهيأ للأندلس عددا كبيرا من المؤرخين الأندلسيين الذين دفعهم حبهم لوطنهم واعتزازهم به إلى تسجيل تاريخ بلادهم، والتأكيد على أبرز مشاهيرها حرما منهم على المباهاة بهم وبتاريخ بلادهم أمام الأقاليم الإسلامية الأخرى ولاسيما أهل المشرق. وعليه فأن لهذا البحث الموسوم (نماذج من الأنماط التاريخية لمؤرخي الأندلس من القرن الخامس إلى القرن الثامن الهجري/الحادي عشر إلى الرابع عشر الميلادي) أهميته في كونه يعرفنا على طبيعة الأنماط التاريخية التي تناولها مؤرخو الأندلس، وعلى طبيعة اتجاهاتهم المنهجية، وهل كانت هذه الأنماط أو الاتجاهات المنهجية متأثره بالكتابات المشرقية، أو أن هناك أنماط جديدة ابتدعتها الأندلس وسبقت بذلك بلاد المشرق، وهل كان للأحداث السياسية وانقسام بلاد الأندلس في عهد الطوائف أثرا على الكتابة التاريخية فيها بشكل سلبي أو إيجابي.

The Andalusians prepared a large number of Andalusian historians whose love for their country and pride in them led them to register the history of their country and to emphasize their most famous people in their interest in their loyalty to them and their history in front of the other Islamic regions, Thus, this research (the models of the historical patterns of the historians of Andalusia from the fifth century to the eighth century AH / eleventh to fourteenth century) is important in that we know the nature of the historical patterns addressed by the historians of Andalusia, and the nature of their methodological directions, and whether these patterns or Methodological trends influenced by the Eastern writings, or that there are new patterns invented by Andalusia and preceded by the Levant, and whether the political events and the division of Andalusia in the era of the communities influenced the historical writing in a negative or positive.
