المستخلص: تتميز أعمال سارج برالي بالتنوع والثراء فإن هذا الكاتب بعد أن مارس التصوير الفوتوجرافي في بداياته قام بمحاولات في الرواية والسيرة والسيناريو. أراد برالي إحياء ذكرى مارسيل ديشان أحد رموز تاريخ الفن المعاصر فقرر تأليف كتابا يبتعد عن قيود السيرة التقليدية وفضل كتابة رواية عن حقبة من حياة هذه الشخصية الحقيقية: أفرد الكاتب مكانة خاصة لفترة إقامته في المغرب أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية قبل سفره إلى نيويورك حيث غير وجه الحياة الفنية، خاصة أن كتاب سيرة مارسيل ديشان لم يهتموا إطلاقا بهذه المرحلة القصيرة التي بلغت ثلاثة أسابيع. وحتى يتغلب على هذه الفترة المبهمة في حياة الفنان، لجأ سارج برالي إلى التخيل ولو إنه لم يتردد في إمداد القارئ بمعلومات دقيقة عن حياته ممل يدل على استناده على وثائق أصلية.
يتناول هذا البحث الذي يرتكز على "زهرة أوركيدا ثابتة" دراسة العلاقات التي تربط بين الرواية والسيرة وإبراز نقطة الالتقاء بين هذين الجنسين الأدبيين. وإذا كان من الضروري التعرف على الحدود الفاصلة بينهما لتوضيح مفهوم تخييل السيرة، فإن تحديد كيفية استخدام التخيل في كتابة السيرة لن يقل أهمية. ولذلك كان لابد من تحليل بنية هذا العمل المبتكرة والدور الذي تلعبه تقنيات الكتابة. وقد أتاح هذا العمل الفرصة لسارج برالي لاكتشاف طريقة جديدة للكتابة تسمح له يتجاوز التحدي الذي بموجبه وفق بين جنسين أدبيين وجمع بين اصطلاحين متناقضين: السيرة والتخيل.

L’œuvre de Serge Bramly se caractérise par la variété et la richesse : cet écrivain qui, après avoir fait de la photographie à ses débuts, s’est essayé dans le roman, la biographie et le scénario. Voulant faire revivre Marcel Duchamp, une des grandes figures de l’histoire de l’art contemporain, Bramly décide d’écrire un livre qui s’écarte des règles de la biographie traditionnelle. Il préfère construire un roman autour d’un épisode de la vie de ce personnage réel : il a voulu consacrer une place à part à son séjour au Maroc pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, avant de repartir pour New York où il bouleversera la vie artistique, d’autant plus que les biographes de Duchamp ne se sont guère intéressés à cette courte période qui a duré trois semaines. Afin de surmonter cette zone obscure de la vie de l’artiste, Bramly a recours à la fiction même s’il n’hésite pas à fournir au lecteur des données biographiques précises qui trahissent sa documentation sérieuse.
Nous nous proposons, dans cette recherche qui se basera sur Orchidée fixe d’examiner les rapports qu’entretiennent la biographie et le roman et de cerner le point de rencontre de ces deux genres. Si l'essentiel sera d’identifier la frontière entre la biographie et la fiction afin d’éclairer l’approche de la biofiction, il ne sera pas moins important de déterminer comment fonctionne l’usage romanesque de la biographie. Il nous faudra également souligner ce qui fait l’originalité de la composition de cette œuvre et ce qui caractérise les techniques d’écriture. Orchidée fixe donne à Bramly l’occasion de découvrir une nouvelle forme d’écriture qui lui permet d’accomplir cette gageure de combiner deux genres et d’associer deux termes antinomiques : la biographie et la fiction.

The work of Serge Praley is characterized by diversity and richness. After his early photography, he made attempts in the novel, biography and script. In order to commemorate Marcel Duchamp, one of the symbols of the history of contemporary art, he decided to write a book that is free from the limitations of traditional biography and preferred to write a novel about an era in the life of this true character: The author devoted a special place to his stay in Morocco during World War II before traveling to New York where he changed the face of artistic life. especially since the biographers of Marcel Duchamp did not care at all about this short three-week period. In order to overcome this vague period in the artist's life, Serge Praley resorted to imagining, although he did not hesitate to provide the reader with accurate information about his life which is boring because the evidence is based on original documents.
This research, based on the “Steady Orchid Flower”, examines the relationships between the novel and the biography, and highlights the intersection between these two literary genres. While it is necessary to identify the boundaries between them to clarify the concept of biography imagination, determining how to use the imagination in writing biography will be no less important. It was, therefore, necessary to analyse the structure of this innovative work and the role played by the writing techniques. This work provided the opportunity for Serge Praley to discover a new way of writing that would allow him to go beyond the challenge by which he reconciles two literary genres and combines two contradictory terms: biography and imagination.
