رسالة (الصاهل والشاحج) لأبي العلاء المعري، وثيقة أدبية تاريخية، نابضة بالصدق الفني، تحفظ الحقائق، وتصور أحداث التاريخ ومواقفه المؤلمة، بعيدا عن أهواء السلطان وميوله. فهي تجربة تتجاوز التعبير عن الذات إلى اتخاذ موقف من حياة المجتمع الحلبي الشامي وتصوير أحواله وهمومه في زمن عانى فيه ويلات الفرار من شائعة غزو رومي متوقع على حلب، وذلك في سنتي (411هـ- 412هـ). وقد وضع المعري نفسه في قلب المعاناة، ثم سرد – على لسان شخوصه الحيوانية، تجربته للمتلقين علي أنها جزء منهم، أو على أنها تعبير عن أنفسهم، ليجعل جمهوره قادرا على إدراك الحقيقة عبر جماليات التصوير الأدبي. فالبحث يكشف عن صور النازحين الحلبيين ويسلط الضوء على همومهم وما لاقوه من مرارة الجفلة، ومخاطر السرى وشظف العيش في المأوى الجديد، ومن ثم عرض صور العودة إلى الديار. وكل ذلك بأسلوب أدبي واقعي جميل، مفعم بعاطفة الروح المكلومة المحركة لوجدان المتلقي وفكره.
"Alsahil and Alshajeh Letter" is written by Abo Al Ala Almary. It's a historical and literary document. It's full of artistic truth, and it preserves the facts and depicts the events and the miseries of history without the interference and the desire of the ruler. It is an experience that surpass the expression of the ego to take a position on the issue of the Shami Halabian society and depicts its adversities and troubles at the time that this society was suffering the escaping of expected roman conquer rumors against Halab during ( 411-412 A ). The writer has put himself as a centre for these sufferings . Then he narrates-via the inanimate characters- his own experiences to the addressees as to be their own experience, or as if this speech may reflect their own life. He wants to make his addressees able to aware the truth through the literary aesthetics. He calls the addressees, inclusively, to tear the curtains of darkness, which was put by political system, and arrogant regimes that controlled the society. The research shows the scenes of the Halabian refuges and highlights their suffering and what they were undergoing because of the wince. In addition to the harshness of the new life, the writer depicts the scenes of the repatriation in a highly beautiful realistic literary style.
