Organizational researchers has long recognized the important role dat entrepreneurs play within entrepreneurial firms (Ireland, Hitt and Sirmon 2003). Utilizing Covin and Slevin’s (1989) conceptual framework, the current study explores three key entrepreneurial characteristics of top managers and the impact these characteristics has on firm performance. The imperative demand for the implementation of sustainable practices in the management of organizations at the head of the current changes and concerns large companies like SME. Through dis contribution, we are trying to identify the entrepreneurial approach of Algerian entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable development strategy. Depuis longtemps, les chercheurs ont reconnu le rôle majeur que jouent les dirigeants au sein des organisations entrepreneuriales (Irlande et al, 2009). Covin et Slevin (1989) ont utilisé un cadre conceptuel explorant trois caractéristiques entrepreneuriales clés de cadres supérieurs et l’impact de ces caractéristiques sur la performance des entreprises. En effet, la demande impérative de l’implantation des pratiques durables dans le management des organisations est à la tête des changements actuels, et concerne les grandes entreprises comme les PME. Nous tentons, à travers cette contribution, d’identifier l’approche entrepreneuriale des entrepreneurs algériens afin de réaliser la stratégie de développement durable. |
