المستخلص: The scholar Abu Zayd Abd al-Rahman al-Akhdari (920 AH - 980 AH), was from the leading Algerian scholars in the 10th century AH. He had a remarkable and diverse knowledge in various areas including religion, language and literature, in addition to what is known about him in terms of mysticism and his traveling for the sake of knowledge. I have chosen a prominent linguistic area in which this great scholar wrote, which is the science of Balaaghah (rhetorical eloquence) in its various categories. That is as Al-Akhdari authored a (poetic) composition entitled “Al-Jawhar Al-Maknoon Fee Sadf Ath-Thalaathah Funoon”, which consists of two hundred and ninety-one lines of poetry. This text was explained by its owner himself and as such, I will seek to determine its knowledge content, specifically from the way that it has been arranged into chapters. I then paid attention to his explanation and compared it with the most significant explanations I have dealt with, due to its importance in this context. That is without neglecting the aspects which the Algerian scholar Al-Akhdari focused upon, whilst highlighting the points of excellence and additions contained in his famous (poetic) composition. Accordingly, I would have attempted to combine between the (poetic) composition, the explanation and the study.

العالم أبو زيد عبد الرحمن الأخضري (920 ه-980 ه) من كبار علماء الجزائر في القرن العاشر الهجري، عرف نبوغا لافتا وتنوعا في الاهتمامات العلمية بين الدين واللغة والأدب إلى جانب ما عرف عنه من تصوف وترحال في سبيل العلم. وقد اخترت حقلا لغويا بارزا ألف فيه هذا العلامة وهو علم البلاغة بمختلف أبوابه، حيث ألفّ الأخضري منظومة من بحر الرجز بعنوان: "الجوهر المكنون في صدف الثلاثة فنون"، تقع في مائتين وواحد وتسعين بيتا، وهذا المتن قام صاحبه نفسه بشرحه لذلك سأتطرق إلى التعريف بمحتواه العلمي خاصة من حيث تبويبه، ثم ألتفت إلى شرحه ومقارنته بأهم الشروح التي تناولته لأنه من الأهمية بمكان. هذا دون إهمال الجوانب التي ركز عليها العالم الجزائري الأخضري، مع إبراز نقاط التميز والإضافات التي حملتها منظومته الشهيرة. وبهذا أكون قد حاولت الجمع بين النظم والشرح والدراسة.
