هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى أنواع العنف الممارس من الزوج ضد الزوجة الفلسطينية وعلاقته بالمساندة الاجتماعية للزوجة، وتحقيقا لهذا الهدف استخدم المنهج الوصفي وأعد الباحث مقياسين طبقهما على عينة عشوائية طبقية مكونة من (500) زوجة من محافظة رفح وتوصلت إلى النتائج الآتية: 1. أن الدرجة الكلية للعنف الممارس من الزوج ضد الزوجة الفلسطينية في محافظة رفح بلغت (81.6%). 2. أن العنف الجسدي أكثر أنواع العنف شيوعا، وحصل على نسبة (83.2%)، ويليه العنف الجنسي، حصل على نسبة (82.6%)، يليه العنف النفسي الاجتماعي حصل على نسبة (79.1%). 3. بلغت نسبة المساندة الاجتماعية للزوجة (79.7%)، في حين أكدت نسبة (20.3%) من الزوجات أنهن لا يطلبن مساندة اجتماعية من أحد. 4. توجد علاقة ارتباطية بين العنف الممارس من الزوج ضد الزوجة والمساندة الاجتماعية، من وجهة نظر الزوجات المعنفات. 5. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات العنف الممارس من الزوج ضد الزوجة تعزى للمتغيرات (عدد الأبناء، عمر الزوجة، عمر الزوج، المستوى التعليمي للزوجة، المستوى التعليمي للزوج، عمل الزوجة، مستوى الدخل، فارق العمر بين الزوجين). 6. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المساندة الاجتماعية للزوجة تعزى للمتغيرات (عدد الأبناء، عمر الزوجة، عمر الزوج، المستوى التعليمي للزوجة، المستوى التعليمي للزوج، عمل الزوجة، مستوى الدخل، فارق العمر بين الزوجين).
The study aimed to identify the Types of violence practiced by the Palestinian husbands against their Palestinian wives in Rafah Governorate and its relationship to the social support for the wife. The study used the descriptive approach, and to collect data Two measures where used. The sample was chosen at Stratified random and consisted of (500) wives living in Rafah Governorate, and it reached the following results: 1- The total score of violence practiced by the husband to the Palestinian wife in the Rafah Governorate reached to (81.6%). 2- physical violence is the common type of violence, it was placed first and scored (83.2 %), sexual violence came second and scored (82.6 %), psycho-social violence came third, and scored (79.1 %) . 3- The percentage of relative social support for the wife scored (79.7%), while (20.3%) of wives did not seek the social support. 4- There is correlation between the violence practiced by the husband against the wife and the social support from the perspective of the battered wives. 5- There are statistically significant differences between the mean of violence done by the husband against the wife attributed to the variable( number of children, the wife' age, the husband's age, the educational level of wife , the educational level of the husband, the job of the wife, the level of income, age gap between spouses). 6- There are statistically significant differences between the social support to the wife and the variable (number of children, the wife' age, the husband’s age, the educational level of wife , the educational level of the husband, the job of the wife, the level of income, age gap between spouses).
