المستخلص: In this research, we will shed light upon the prayer halls and their planning in the Maghreb and Andalusia, during the reign of the Muwahhideen, relying upon the horizontal projections and geometric plans of a collection of mosques of that period.
We also explore the history of the most important immortal mosques in the region, and how their construction was often associated with religious, political and military events.
It will be undertaken by relying upon the analytical descriptive approach to deduce the most important specificities and distinguishing features in order to facilitate the comparison process. This is all in order to highlight the extent of the dominating influence of the Moroccan Muslim architecture in respect to the planning and construction process, and the subsequent expansion and control of the urban space of the city. In addition to how it deals with the challenges it may face in its work and many other aspects that we discover together in this research.

في هذا البحث سوف نسلط الدراسة على قاعات الصلاة وتخطيطها ببلاد المغرب والأندلس، أثناء حكم الموحدين. معتمدين في ذلك على المساقط الأفقية والمخططات الهندسية لمجموعة من المساجد لتلك الفترة.
كما نتعرف على تاريخ أهم المساجد الخالدة بالمنطقة، وكيف أن بنائها كان يرتبط في كثير من الأحيان بعدة مناسبات كالدينية والسياسية والعسكرية.
معتمدين على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لاستنباط أهم الخصائص والمميزات لتسهيل عملية المقارنة. وهذا كله من أجل إبراز مدى تحكم المعمار المسلم المغاربي في عملية التخطيط والبناء، والتوسعة لاحقا وتحكمه في الحيز العمراني للمدينة، وكذا كيفية تعامله مع التحديات التي يمكن أن تواجهه في عمله وجوانب أخري عدة نكتشفها معا في هذا البحث.

Dans cette recherche nous allons étudier les salles de prière et leur planification au Maghreb et en Andalousie dans la période d’Almohades. S'appuyant sur des projections horizontales et des plans géométriques pour des exemples de mosquées pour cette période.
Nous connaissons également l'histoire des plus importantes mosquées intemporelles de la région, et comment leur construction a souvent été associée à plusieurs occasions telles que religieuses, politiques et militaires.
Basé sur une approche descriptive analytique pour développer les caractéristiques et les caractéristiques les plus importantes afin de faciliter le processus de comparaison. Ceci afin de mettre en evidence le processus de planification et de construction de l'architecture maghrébine, d'expansion et de contrôle de l'espace urbain de la ville, de relever les défis de son travail et bien d'autres aspects de cette recherche.
