المستخلص: إن المجتمع المستقر لا يعني ذلك المجتمع الذي لا نظهر فيه أي تعبير عن شعور التذمر نحو الحكومة أو الأنظمة القائمة والذي لا تنتهك فيه حرمة القانون أبداً، إنما الاستقرار هو نسبي وهو عملية انتقال السلطة بطريقة شرعية (قانونية) وسليمة، والاستقرار يرادف غياب العنف السياسي والنظام السياسي المستقر هو ذلك النظام الذي يسوده السلم وطاعة القانون،
وتتخذ القرارات فيه بإجراءات مؤسسية والجزائر عبر تاريخها السياسي عانت من حالات عدم الاستقرار لكن النظام حافظ على استمراريته واستقراره النسبي على مر تاريخ الجزائر الحديث، وعليه فإن هناك عدة عوامل ساهمت في تعزيز الاستقرار السياسي في الجزائر وهي، القيادات السياسية التي مرت على الجزائر بداية من الرئيس بن بلة إلى مرحلة الرئيس عبد العزيز بوتفليقة، ودور المؤسسة العسكرية والأجهزة الأمنية الأخرى، البنى الاجتماعية السائدة وحالة الانسجام الاجتماعي، ومركزية النظام أثناء الأزمات.

Une société stable ne signifie pas cette société dans laquelle nous ne montrons aucune expression de ressentiment envers le gouvernement ou les régimes existants, où l'inviolabilité de la loi n'est jamais violée, mais où la stabilité est relative: le processus de transfert du pouvoir d'une manière légitime et appropriée. L'absence de violence politique et un système politique stable sont le système de paix et d'obéissance à la loi.Les décisions sont prises par des procédures institutionnelles.L'Algérie par son histoire politique a souffert de l'instabilité, mais le régime a maintenu sa continuité et sa relative stabilité dans l'histoire moderne de l'Algérie , Il y a donc plusieurs facteurs qui ont contribué à la stabilité politique en Algérie, les dirigeants politiques qui sont passés de l'Algérie, du président Ben Bella au président Abdelaziz Bouteflika, le rôle de l'armée et des autres services de sécurité, les structures sociales dominantes et l'harmonie sociale. A stable society does not mean a society in which we do not show any expression of a feeling of dissatisfaction towards the existing government or regimes and where the sanctity of the law is never violated.
