|a يتناول هذا المقال موضوع السياحة والتنمية المستدامة، هذه الأخيرة التي أصبحت الانشغال الأساسي لكافة دول العالم، من خلال الحث على ضرورة الأخذ بعين الاعتبار بالجوانب البيئية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية في مختلف الأنشطة، ويعتبر القطاع السياحي من أهم القطاعات التي يعول عليها في تحقيق التنمية من خلال التخطيط السياحي والرقابة عن طريق استحداث العديد من المؤشرات الخاصة بقياس فعالية البرامج السياحية ونتائجها الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وكذا العديد من المقاييس لمعرفة تأثيراتها على البيئة.

|d Cet article se penche sur les thèmes du tourisme et du développement durable; ce dernier est devenu une préoccupation majeure universelle en insistant sur la nécessité de prendre en compte en même temps les aspects sociaux, environnementaux et économiques dans toutes les activités. Le tourisme est incontestablement l’un des secteurs d’activité humaine les plus importants en relation avec la contrainte de développement durable. Il nécessite le recours à la planification touristique et le contrôle par l'introduction de plusieurs indicateurs spécifiques pour réaliser l’adéquation nécessaire entre les résultats sociaux et économiques, et l'efficacité des programmes touristiques, ainsi que les paramètres pertinents pour déterminer leurs effets sur l'environnement.
