ينصرف الهدف من كتابة هذا البحث، إلى جمع قصائد شعراء ديالى التي قيلت في النصف الأول من القرن السابع الهجري، من خلال كتاب (قلائد الجمان في فرائد شعراء هذا الزمان) لـــ (ابن الشعار الموصلي ت 654)، والتعريف بشعراء هذه الحقبة، وإضاءة حركة إبداعهم، وقراءة هذا النتاج قراءة نقدية حكميةً، باتجاه الوقوف على طبيعته الإبداعية، واتجاهاته الموضوعية، ومستوياتها الأسلوبية، على وفق منهج قرائي فني تكاملي، يحاول الإجابة على السؤالين المهمين: ما المعاني التي قدمها هؤلاء الشعراء؟ وما الكيفية التي قدموها بها؟. وقد تكمن أهمية هذا البحث أيضاً في إننا لم نجد لهؤلاء الشعراء دواوين شعريةً مستقلةً، فقمت بجمع أشعارهم وترتيبها وكتابة ترجمة لهم والتعريف بهم، ولا شك في أن هذا الجمع والترتيب سيسهم في تذليل الصعوبة التي قد يواجهها الراغب في الاطلاع على شعراء ديالى، من خلال هذا الجمع ووضعه بين يدي القارئ، وسهولة تناوله، هذا فضلاً عن القيام بلفت أنظار الدارسين والباحثين إلى شعراء ديالى لتقديم دراسات مختلفة الاتجاهات والطبيعة وزوايا التناول.
The aim of writing this research is to collect the poems of the poets of Diyala that were spoken in the first half of the seventh century after Hijra, throughout the book of (Kalaed Al- Juman fi Faraed Shoaraa Hatha Al- Zaman) of Ibn Al- Sha'ar Al- Mawsili 654 A.H., identify the poets of this era and highlight their creative movement. It also aims to read this product critically standing on its creative nature, objective directions and stylistic levels according to a technical and integrative readings which can answer the following two questions: what are the meanings provided by these poets? How did they present it? The importance of this research may lie in the fact that the researcher did not find independent divans (collection of poems) to these poets. Therefore, the researcher collected their poems, arrange them, write an interpretation for them and define these poets. No doubt that this collection and arrangement will contribute to avoid the difficulty that may be faced by those wishing to read about the poets of Diyala. In addition, this may draw the attention of researchers to the poets of Diyala to provide studies of different directions, nature and angles of handling.
