|b The economy in the ancient Near East was characterized as an agricultural economy. Vertical agriculture was the backbone of economic life in ancient Mesopotamia, and most of the population worked in agriculture and related occupations. The main elements of both pastoral and agro-pastoral life, namely, villages, crops, grazing and other activities, have gradually become the norm for the ancient Near East economy over the millennia since the Neolithic and beyond. Rural life was seen as a life of oppression, hard work and work. He began his early life in the ancient stone ages, relying on the collection of food. This stage was called "the stage of collecting the sustenance," but gradually he moved to a more advanced stage in many of its joints, where he was referred to agriculture and animal domestication. . At this stage, it established the "productive" economy based on agriculture, animal husbandry and all urban lifestyles in the region, which in the history of the region constituted a stage of transformation and an important qualitative divide. A shift towards agriculture and a life of stability will be in the interest of man and will be a choice by the whole human being as soon as the requirements become available. At this stage, man has made important attempts to produce his power through agriculture and the domestication of the animal. These attempts culminated in his control over the elements of economic life after he was subjected to natural crises, which often exhausted him. New economic and cultural patterns have emerged that are much more profitable and stable. For the first time, humans were able to control and multiply their food sources.
