المستخلص: أظهر البحث خبرة أصحاب كتب الفرق وسعة اطلاعهم في اللغة. وتوزيعهم الألفاظ على مجالات دلالية محددة، فكان العطاء وافراً غزيراً، وفرصة لجمع كل ما أمكن جمعه من شواهد وفوائد. وكشف البحث دراسة أصحاب كتب (الفرق) الظواهر اللغوية، وكيف أن تجربتهم هذا وضعتهم على أعتاب نظرية المجال الدلالي التي لم يقدر علماء اللغة في الغرب على اكتشافها إلا بعد مضي عشرة قرون على عملهم هذا، واقتضى العمل تقسيم البحث إلى ثلاثة مباحث درس الأول كتب الفرق في ضوء علم الدلالة، وتناول الثاني دلالة أسماء أعضاء ذوات الخف، وجلى الثالث أسماء أعضاء ذوات الحافر فضلاً عن مقدمة وخاتمة.
