المستخلص: Ornaments have been produced since primitive times, where beads, bracelets, rings and pendants with simple shapes made of colored stones, bones, ivory and clay have been found, and the materials of ornament and methods of manufacturing throughout the various civilizations was spread and diversified, and decorative elements became part of them that showed its beauty and ornaments have been derived from their manufacturing materials and shapes from the surrounding environment.
Ceramics were sometimes used to replace stones in producing beads, so it was known to the people of Babylon and the Pharaoh’s, where colorful, blue and green ornaments appeared, With the development of societies, man began to search for the discovery of other materials such as gold, silver, ivory, diamonds, bronze and copper and began to transform them into jewelry reflecting his social and economic belonging.
There were many reasons for the use of ornaments according to different cultures where they were worn for purposes of adornment or to indicate belonging to a certain social class and richness of the owner, in addition to magical or religious purposes, where man believed that some types of ornaments have a magic value that stops the effect of magic such as amulets.
Ceramic ware has a distinct position where its materials and methods of composition vary, and are more attractive than many other types of jewelry; it can also be adapted to the customs and traditions of different societies, this is in addition to the low cost compared to some other materials. One of the most important influences in the appearance of ceramic jewelry coatings and decorations that cover the surface, we find in the use of decal an important way to transfer forms and colors of decoration that can be designed or transmitted from any civilization, Hence, came the idea of using the decoration technique in decals to benefit from the Islamic decorations in the development of ceramic jewelry, we maintain our identity amid the contention of products that come to us and carry only a focus for our civilization.

انتجت الحلي منذ العصور البدائية حيث عثر على خرزات وأساور وخواتم ودلايات ذات أشكال بسيطة مصنوعة من حجر ملون أو من العظم والعاج والطين، وانتشرت وتنوعت خامات الحلي وطرق تصنيعها على مدار الحضارات المختلفة ودخلت فيها العناصر الزخرفية التي تظهر جمالها وقد استمدت الحلي خامات تصنيعها وأشكالها من البيئة المحيطة.
كما أستخدم أحيانا الخزف ليحل محل الأحجار في صناعة الخرز، فعرف عند أهل بابل والفراعنة حيث ظهرت حلي ملونة بالأزرق والأخضر، ومع تطور المجتمعات بدأ الإنسان يبحث عن اكتشاف خامات أخرى مثل الذهب، الفضة، العاج، الألماس، البرونز والنحاس وبدأ يحولها إلى حلي تعكس انتماءه الاجتماعي والاقتصادي.
كما تعددت أسباب استخدام الحلي تبعا لاختلاف الثقافات حيث كانت ترتدي لأغراض الزينة أو للدلالة على الانتماء لطبقة اجتماعية معينة وثراء صاحبها بالإضافة للأغراض السحرية أو الدينية حيث اعتقد الإنسان أن بعض أنواع الحلي لها قيمة سحرية توقف تأثير السحر مثل التمائم.
وللحلي الخزفية مكانة متميزة حيث تتنوع خاماتها وطرق تشكيلها ولها من الجاذبية ما يفوق العديد من الأنواع الأخرى من الحلي كما يمكن إضفاء طابع خاص لها يتلائم مع عادات وتقاليد المجتمعات المختلفة هذا بالإضافة إلى قلة تكلفتها بالمقارنة ببعض الخامات الأخرى، ومن أهم المؤثرات في مظهر الحلي الخزفية الطلاءات والزخارف التي تكسو سطحها، فنجد في استخدام الديكالات وسيلة هامة لنقل أشكال وألوان من الزخارف التي يمكن تصميمها أو نقلها من أي حضارة، ومن هنا جاءت فكرة البحث في استخدام تقنية الزخرفة بالديكال للاستفادة من الزخارف الإسلامية في استحداث حلي خزفية نحافظ بها على هويتنا وسط تزاحم المنتجات الواردة الينا ولا تحمل في طياتها إلا محورا لحضارتنا.
