هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على واقع تقييم وتشخيص أطفال التوحد في الوطن العربي من وجهة نظر الخبراء والاختصاصين من خلال إجراء مسح عينة تكونت من 101 من الخبراء والاختصاصيين من الدول العربية من العاملين في المؤسسات والمستشفيات والمراكز التي تعني بتشخيص وعلاج حالات التوحد وتم استخدام أداة قياس تم تصميمها لغرض الدراسة موجه لأفراد عينة الدراسة واستمارة مراكز تشخيص أطفال التوحد والتقارير الصادرة من المراكز والتي عرضت على محكمين من ذوي الخبرة، حيث تمتعت بدرجة عالية من الصدق (85%) والثبات (88%). وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أهمية موضوع التقييم والتشخيص لأطفال التوحد رغم أن النتائج بينت بأن كفاءة وفاعلية تشخيص حالات التوحد دون المستوى المطلوب مقارنة بالمعايير الدولية في التشخيص، إضافة إلى قلة الكوادر المتخصصة في التشخيص وعدم توفر الاختبارات المقننة بدرجة كافية، وأن هناك نسبة لا بأس بها من أخطاء التشخيص في التقارير الصادرة وأن الأسلوب المعتمد في تشخيص أطفال التوحد تقليدي وغير محدث وليس ضمن معايير الجودة العالمية، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن هناك درجة من الرضا متوسطة حول آلية وإجراءات التشخيص، ويوصي الباحث بوضع آلية ومنهجية واضحة ضمن المعايير العالمية في تقييم وتشخيص فئة أطفال التوحد ودعم المراكز الخاصة بالتشخيص بالكوادر المدربة والمؤهلة، والاتفاق على منهج عربي موحد في تشخيص حالات التوحد بمختلف مكوناتها ومستوياتها وتصنيفاتها.
The present study aimed to identify the reality of assessment and diagnosis of autistic children in the Arab world from the point of view of experts and specialists through a sample survey consisting of 101 experts and specialists from Arab countries working in institutions and hospitals and centers dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of autism. A measurement tool designed for study purposes is directed at the sample of the study and the form of autism diagnosis centers and the reports issued by the centers, which were presented to experienced arbitrators, with a high degree of honesty (85%) and stability (88%). The results of the study pointed to the importance of evaluation and diagnosis of autistic children, although the results showed that the efficiency and effectiveness of diagnosis of autism is below the required level compared to international standards in diagnosis, in addition to the lack of specialized staff in diagnosis and the lack of adequate tests and that a good proportion of Diagnosis errors in the issued reports The method adopted in the diagnosis of autistic children is traditional and is not updated and is not within the international quality standards. The results indicated that there is a degree of moderate satisfaction about the mechanism and procedures of diagnosis, and recommends the researcher to develop a clear mechanism and methodology within the criteria In the evaluation and diagnosis of the children of autism and support centers for diagnosis of trained and qualified personnel, and agree on a unified Arab approach in the diagnosis of autism in various components, levels and classifications.
