|a من المقرر أن الشريعة الإسلامية الغراء قد دعت إلى العمل ورغبت فيه، بل إنها أوجبته على أتباع دين الإسلام العظيم، ووضعت له مبادئ عامة وشروطا معينة تحقق مقاصد جمة تنعكس في معظمها على المجتمع المسلم بكل إيجابية وفاعلية؛ ولأن الأسرة في الإسلام تعد نواة هذا المجتمع واللبنة الأولى التي يقوم عليها صرح الأمة المتين؛ فقد أولاها هذا الدين القيم اهتماما بالغا منذ اللحظة الأولى التي تبدأ بالزواج، فوزع الأدوار على الزوجين مبينا ما لكل منهما وما عليه، فكان لزاما علينا أن نبين سبق الإسلام في سن التشريعات التي تحمي الأسرة وذلك من خلال حرصه على إدارة أعمالها بتوزيع المهام على أفرادها بحيث تؤول الأمور إلى ترسيخ العدالة بين أفراد المجتمع باضطلاع كل منهم بمهامه ومسؤولياته ومن ثم يتم الاستقرار وتتحقق السلامة والسعادة معا بإعطاء كل ذي حق حقه من غير إفراط ولا تفريط وبلا زيادة ولا نقصان، والله وحده المستعان.

|b The glorious Islamic Sharia has called upon its followers and encouraged them to commit to their "Duties" and has made them obligatory actions. It has also set forth general principles and specific terms that fulfill enormous objectives which mostly reflect positively and effectively on the Muslim community. "Family" in Islam being the nucleus of this community and the first stone, on which the strong structure of the nation stands on, was given great attention from the moment it began with marriage. Roles were distributed to both husband and wife stating the duties of each. Therefore, it was necessary to show how Islamic Sharia took the lead in endorsing laws that would protect "family" through managing its duties and distributing the tasks among its members so that justice could be established among members of the community who would become aware of their duties and responsibilities. Furthermore, Stability, safety and happiness would be achieved by giving everyone his right without excess or negligence, not more and not less.
