المستخلص: The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between psychological flow and the level of ambition among a sample of swimmers in Damascus governorate. Differences in the degree of psychological flow and level of ambition among the members of the research sample are defined according to gender and age variables. The sample consisted of (77) individuals divided into (54) males and (23) females. They were selected by random stratified method, where they applied the psychological flow scale and the level of ambition (prepared by the researcher) after verifying of validity and reliability. The results indicated that: 1. The existence of a positive correlation relationship of statistical significance between psychological flow and the level of ambition among a sample of swimming players in Damascus Governorate. 2. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the individuals on the psychological flow scale according 3. There are statistically significant differences between the average score of the individuals in the research sample on the scale of the level of ambition according to the gender variable in favor of 4. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the individuals on the psychological scale according to the age variable for the benefit of the larger age. 5. There are statistically significant differences between the average grade of the individuals in the research sample on the scale of the level of ambition according to the variable of age in favor of the largest age.

هدف البحث إلى تعرف العلاقة بين التدفق النفسي ومستوى الطموح لدى عينة من لاعبي السباحة في محافظه دمشق، وتعرف الفروق في درجة التدفق النفسي ومستوى الطموح بين أفراد عينة البحث وفقاً لمتغيري الجنس والعمر. وتكونت عينة البحث من (77) فرداً موزعين إلى (54) من الذكور، و(23) من الإناث. تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية، حيث طبق عليهم مقياس التدفق النفسي ومقياس مستوى الطموح (من إعداد الباحثة) بعد التحقق من صدقهما وثباتهما. وأشارت النتائج إلى ما يلي: 1. وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التدفق النفسي ومستوى الطموح لدى عينة من لاعبي السباحة في محافظة دمشق. 2. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس التدفق النفسي تبعاً لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور. 3. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس مستوى الطموح تبعاً لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور. 4. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس التدفق النفسي تبعاً لمتغير العمر لصالح العمر الأكبر. 5. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس مستوى الطموح تبعاً لمتغير العمر لصالح العمر الأكبر.
