المستخلص: The terminologies have a great status in all sciences; because they are the key to science and the terminologies of sciences have its maximum fruits when they represent the structure of their cognitive facts and each one has its distinction. Terminologies lead man to the logic of science.. If the importance of the scientific term is identified in each science, it shall be clarified that the terminological record is the conceptual disclosure that protect science without any confusion with other sciences. It is usual to consider the terminological system of every science as a correspondent image of the structure of its measurement; if it deviated, its image will be spoiled.
Hence we can say that the relationship between science and its terminologies is a coherent relationship, scientific knowledge can not be established without a technical term, and the scientific term can not cancel the existence of the cognitive content, when one of the parties exists it cancels the existence of the other.
The terminology represents a necessity for the scientific methodology, as any methodology can not be sound except it is built on precise terms. The importance of research is shown in the terminologies of breaking and adverb the case being a matter of controversy that was not mentioned in the books of the Grammatical Controversial Issues, but came dispersed in books that referred to them as a presentation as in the books of interpretation or books of parsing the Koran.
The research deals with presentation and analysis of the terminologies of breaking and adverb attempting to combine the parts of the issue and put it in the hands of the reader.

إن للمصطلحات مكانة عظيمة في أي علم من العلوم؛ لأنها مفاتيح العلوم ((ومصطلحات العلوم ثمارها القصوى، فهي مجمع حقائقها المعرفية، وعنوان ما به يتميز كل واحد منها، عما سواه، وليس من مسلك يتوسل به الإنسان إلى منطق العلم غير ألفاظه الاصطلاحية... فإذا استبان خطر المصطلح العلمي في كل علم، توضح أن السجل الاصطلاحي هو الكشف المفهومي الذي يقيم للعلم سوره الجامع، وحصنه المانع من دون أن يلابسه بالعلوم الأخرى، فلا شذوذ إذا اعتبرنا الجهاز المصطلحي لكل علم صورة مطابقة لبنية قياساته، متى فسد فسدت صورته.
ومن هنا يمكننا القول إن العلاقة بين العلم ومصطلاحاته هي علاقة تعاوضية، فلا يمكن للمعرفة العلمية أن تقوم بدون مصطلح فني، ولا يمكن للمصطلح العلمي أن يلغي وجود المضمون المعرفي، فمتى حضر احد الطرفين ألغى وجود الآخر.
فالمصطلح ((ضرورة لازمة للمنهج العلمي، إذ لا يستقيم منهج إلا إذا بني على مصطلحات دقيقة، ومن تتأتى أهمية البحث في مصطلحي القطع والحال كونهما مسألة خلافية لم ترد في كتب الخلاف النحوي، وإنما جاءت متفرقة في كتب أشارت إليها عرضا كما في كتب التفسير، أو كتب إعراب القرآن.
والبحث يتناول بالعرض، والتحليل مصطلحي القطع والحال ويحاول أن يجمع أشتات المسألة ويضعها بين يدي القارئ الكريم.
