المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث قضية أبعاد العملية الدلالية عند أبي حامد الغزالي في كتابه معيار العلم في المنطق، فيبحث فيه عن آرائه في: ٠ أوجه دلالة الألفاظ على المعاني: إذ تدل الألفاظ على المعاني من ثلاثة أوجه متباينة؛ دلالة المطابقة، كالاسم الموضوع بإزاء الشيء، ودلالة التضمن، كدلالة لفظ "البيت علي الحائط، ودلالة الاستلزام (الاستتباع)، كدلالة لفظ السقف علي الحائط. ٠ رتبة الألفاظ من مراتب المعاني: حيث توجد الأشياء في أربعة أنواع: الوجود العيني: أي: الوجود الخارجي للشيء في عالم الحس والمادة حولنا. والوجود الذهني: أي وجود صورة في الذهن للشيء المتحدث عنه. والوجود اللفظي: أي وجود أصوات منطوقة للكلمة التي تدل عل صورة شيء ما في الذهن، ويستدعيها في دماغه، ويشار بها إلى كل أفراد ذلك الشيء في العالم الخارجي. والوجود الكتابي، أي: وجود حروف هجائية مخطوطة تدل علي كلمة معينة. وهذا الترتيب للموجودات ينال فيه الوجود العيني المرتبة الأولى، يليه الوجود الذهني ثم اللفظي وأخيرا الكتابة. ٠ الأبعاد الدلالية عند اللغويين المحدثين تكتمل بدراسة بعدين فقط، هما: الدال والمدلول، ورائدهم في ذلك " دي سوسير" الذي درس جانبين فقط من جوانب الدلالة، هما: الرمز والمعنى، واستبعد دراسة الموضوعات التي تتناولها اللغة. ٠ ربط المعنى بالإدراك الذهني، فاللفظ يدل به على الصور الذهنية التي تصل إلى الذهن، وذلك عن طريق التقاط الحواس لها، ثم يدركها الذهن بعد ذلك، فمتى حدث ارتسام للشيء في النفس حدث العلم به والإدراك له، فعملية الإدراك ما هي إلا انطباع صورة الشيء الخارجي في النفس عن طريق إحدى الحواس، فيصبح هذا الشيء معلوما ومدركا لدى الذهن. مصدر الصورة الذهنية: إذ تستمد الصورة الذهنية من الشيء الخارجي، وسبيل الشيء الخارجي إلى الذهن هو الإحساس المناسب لتصور ذلك الشيء؛ رؤية أو سمعًا، لمسًا أو شمًا أو ذوقًا.

The presence of verbal: the existence of any sounds pronunciations of the word which shows the image of something in the mind, and necessitated in his brain, and is referred to by all members of that thing in the outside world. Written and existence: the existence of any satirical manuscript letters indicate a specific word.
