هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على أسبابا تدني إنتاجية صيد الأسماك بمنطقة الجزيرة أبا، باعتبارها مشكلة اقتصادية يتكرر حدوثها في مناطق مختلفة من السودان ومن بينها منطقة الدراسة، حيث تتمثل أهمية الدراسة في التعرف على أسباب وآثار تدني إنتاجية الأسماك وخاصة في مراحل الإنتاج الأولى، ودراسة الآثار الاقتصادي والاجتماعية الناجمة من ذلك التدني. استخدم الباحث المنهج التاريخي لدراسة تتبع مراحل حرفة صيد الأسماك ومشاكل الصيد السمكي، ومحاولة فهمها لكي نفهم الحاضر على ضوء أحداث الماضي، كما استفاد الباحث من المنهجين الاستدلالي والاستقرائي في استخدام الاستدلال لبيان وتوضيح مشكلة البحث وتحديد الأهداف والفرضيات، واستخدم المنهج الاستقرائي في استقراء عناصر مكونات العمل الميداني على جميع الجزئيات للوصول إلى الكليات وتعميمها. ختمت الدراسة بتقديم عدة نتائج من أهمها أن حرفة صيد الأسماك تشهد تدني كبير في الإنتاجية، وصل متوسط الإنتاج اليومي للفرد إلى 4.6 كيلوجرام من الأسماك في 2014م، مقارنة بـ 40 كيلوجرام في العام 2004م، كما توصل البحث إلى عدد من التوصيات، أهمها تطوير وسائل وطرق صيد الأسماك، وتحسين أدوات النقل، ووسائل حفظ الأسماك، والاهتمام بالاستزراع السمكي لمواجهة تدني إنتاجية الأسماك، ومن ثم النهوض باقتصاديات المنطقة.
This study attempted to concern with the reasons of fishes decreasing production in the area of study as economic problem which happen in different areas in Sudan for example the area of study. And this study concentrates on defining the reasons and the effects of fishes decreasing production specially in different levels of the production, moreover, the study of the economic and the social effects which from that decreasing. Researcher uses the historical methods to study the past events and analyzed the human problems in order to understand that problems and to understand the present events as well. However, the researcher gets more benefits from two methods deduction and the second is inductive. In the sue of deductive in benefits of the problem of research Crystallization and to limit the goals and the hypothesis and the use of dedication method in the inductive on the study field in every single part to find out the ending and generalize them. The study ends up with different results as follow: -fishing as decreasing the production, moreover the daily medium of an individual person reached to 4,6 KG from fishes in 2014, in compare with 40 KG in 2004, the researcher reached in to different recommendations, the most important are to improve the means and the ways of fishing, to develop the means of transportation, means of keeping the fishing fresh, to be cared about fishes breeching to face fishes decreasing production and finally to develop the economics of the area.
