تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع خدمات المعلومات بالمكتبات المتخصصة من وجهة نظر المستفيدين وقدرة المكتبة على تلبية احتياجات المستفيدين، وتم تطبيق هذه الدراسة على مكتبة مركز ركائز المعرفة للدراسات والبحوث. اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ودراسة الحالة لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة وتم تحليل البيانات بحسب النسب والتكرارات المئوية. تم تصميم استبانة لجمع البيانات تحتوي على عدة محاور وتم توزيع (35) استبانة على عينة عشوائية من المستفيدين من المكتبة. أظهرت الدراسة أن المستفيدين يواجهون عدة صعوبات ومشاكل منها صعوبات في الحصول على مصادر المعلومات وغياب قواعد البيانات وقلة التجهيزات بالمكتبة من أجهزة حواسيب وطابعات، وأن نسبة 51% من أفراد عينة الدراسة راضون عن خدمات المكتبة، أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تفعيل خدمات المعلومات بالمكتبة مثل الإحاطة الجارية والبث الانتقائي للمعلومات والترجمة والاستخلاص والتكشيف. ضرورة الاشتراك في قواعد البيانات المحلية والعالمية وذلك لما لها من أهمية بوصفها مصدر معلومات بالمكتبات المتخصصة. كما أوصت الدراسة بضرورة دراسة الاحتياجات الفعلية للمستفيدين ومن ثم تلبيها بالخدمات التي تساهم في رفع مستوى رضا المستفيدين.
This study aims to recognize the reality of information services in special libraries, and library’s ability to meet the need of beneficiaries, this study was applied at the library of Rakaiz Almarefa for Researches and studies Descriptive analytical and case study methods were used. Using a questionnaire containing several axes data was collected from a sample consist of (35) of the library beneficiaries. collected data was analyzed by calculating the proportions and frequency of the percentages. The study showed that the beneficiaries face several difficulties and problems, including difficulties in obtaining the sources of information and the absence of databases and lack of computer hardware, 51% of the sample of the study sample are satisfied with library services, The study recommends that the necessity of activating information services in the library such as Current Awareness service, Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) Translation, Indexing and extraction, the library should have subscription in the national and international data base because of its importance as a source of information in special libraries. The study also recommended to study the actual needs of the beneficiaries and then respond to the services that contribute to raising the level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
