المستخلص: This paper examines George Orwell's famous satirical noveNineteen Eighty-four. In this novel Orwell satirizes totalitarian systems and warns the world against its dangers.. The recurring message throughout the novel is the continuing conflict between the individual and the social system where the State controls everything in the life of citizens and turn it into a nightmare. Orwell believed that the only practicable way to social justice is through a fair and democratic state. Orwell predicts what would happen in the future, if a totalitarian system prevailed.. The novel depicts a society living under a totalitarian government where all personal freedom and privacy had vanished; and the people live under constant surveillance to their actions and thoughts.
