هدفت الدراسة إلى قياس أثر استخدام بطاقة القياس المتوازن للأداء على دعم الدور الاستراتيجي لمجلس الإدارة كأحد آليات الحوكمة بهدف تحسين أداء البنوك المصرية، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الدراسة على استقصاء آراء عينة البحث البلغ عددهم (83) مفردة وزعت على أعضاء الإدارة العليا بالبنوك التي تعمل في البيئة المصرية وكانت نسبة الاستجابة 80.7%، (150) مفردة وزعت على الأكاديميين في الجامعات المصرية وكانت نسبية الاستجابة 87.3%، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن مجلس الإدارة هو أكثر آليات الحوكمة قدره على تفعيل الدور الاستراتيجي للأداء كونه يهتم بوضع وتوجيه الاستراتيجية ورسم الخطط والسياسات العامة للبنك، توفر بطاقة القياس المتوازن للأداء برنامج متكامل لإدارة متطلبات الأطراف ذات العلاقة بأكثر الأساليب فاعلية وكفاءة مما يدعم الدور مجلس الإدارة تجاه تحقيق رضاء أصحاب المصالح المختلفة، تعتبر بطاقة القياس المتوازن للأداء بمثابة نظام للمعلومات كونها تعمل على تكامل البرامج الإدارة وتجمع في تقرير واحد صورة شاملة عن عمليات البنك مما يدعم دور مجلس الإدارة في تقييم أداء كبار المديرين التنفيذيين ووضع خطط تداول المناصب والمكافآت.
the objective of the study was to measure the TEMPeffect of the use of the balanced scorecard on performance in supporting the strategic role of the board of directors as one of the governance mechanisms aimed at improving the performance of the Egyptian banks، In order to achieve this objective, the study relied on surveying the views of the 83-member sample, which was distributed to the senior management members of the banks operating in the Egyptian environment. The response rate was 80.7%, 150-member distributed to the academics in the Egyptian universities. The response rate was 87.3%. The study concluded dat the Board of Directors is the most TEMPeffective governance mechanism in its ability to activate the strategic role of performance as it is accused of developing and guiding the strategy and drawing up the bank's plans and policies. The Balanced Scorecard provides an integrated program to manage the requirements of related parties in the most TEMPeffective and efficient manner, supporting the role of the Board of Directors towards achieving the satisfaction of different stakeholders. The Balanced Scorecard is an information system dat integrates administrative programs and combines in one report a comprehensive picture of the Bank's operations, which supports the role of the Board in evaluating the performance of senior executives and developing position trading plans and rewards.
