جاء هذا البحث من خلال محاوره المتعددة ليقدم تعريفا علمياً مهماً بطبيعية خدمات المجاري الصحية في مدينة الرمادي بدا من تأسيسها حتى واقع حال 2013 والوقوف على دور هذه الخدمة، مع التعرف على طبيعة توزيعها والتباين الحاصل بين أجزاء المدينة ونسبة التغطية لهذه الخدمة على مستوى مساكن المدينة وابرز المشاكل التي تقف عائقا أمام النهوض بالواقع المتردي لهذه الخدمة، كذلك معاينة مسببات المشكلة والوقوف على المشاريع المقترحة للتحايل عليها باعتمادها أساليب علمية رصينة في تحديد المشاريع المفضلة، وأبرز الأساليب البحثية المعتمدة هو أسلوب المسح الميداني والمقابلات الشخصية كذلك توزيع استمارة استبيان على عينة عشوائية بمستوى ثقة 93%، وأهم ما توصل إليه البحث هو أن الإهمال وسوء الإدارة والفساد وقلة الكادر المتخصص والمتدرب وسياسة الحلول الترقيعية من غير نظرة مستقبلية وأسلوب التنضيد للمشاكل المكدسة وعدم الشعور بالمسؤولية وضعف الرقابة هي من تقف وراء قصور وتردي خدمات الصرف، وقد توج البحث برؤية مستقبلية أبرزها إدخال مدينة الرمادي ضمن برامج التنمية حيث نالها الإهمال كذلك الحاجة إلى تشكيل فريق عمل متنوع الاختصاصات ليناقش بعلمية المشاريع المقترحة وتحديد المفاضلة بينها على قرار هذه الدراسة التي حددنا بموجبها المقترح الرابع بعيداً عن الاجتهاد.
