المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى تحديد قيم المواطنة المنشود تضمينها في مناهج المواد الاجتماعية للمرحلتين: المتوسطة والثانوية، من الصف السادس إلى الصف الثاني عشر، من وجهة نظر معلمي المواد الاجتماعية وموجهيها. ولقد اشتملت عينة البحث على (143) موجهاً ومعلماً؛ بلغ عدد الموجهين الفنيين (52)، وعدد المعلمين (91). واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ لتحديد قيم المواطنة المنشود تضمينها في مناهج المواد الاجتماعية. وقد تم بناء قائمة بقيم المواطنة والتأكد من صدقها وثباتها لتحقيق الغرض من البحث، واستخدمت المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية واختبار T-test، واختبار تحليل التباين الأحادي ANOVA في المعالجات الإحصائية.
وفي ضوء تحليل بيانات البحث ونتائجه تم التوصل إلى الآتي:
- تحديد قائمة بقيم المواطنة المنشودة، تكونت من 68 قيمة، وزعت على ثمانية محاور رئيسية، هي: قيم المواطنة (الاجتماعية، والمدنية، والعلمية، والأخلاقية، والدينية، والسياسية، والاقتصادية، والبيئية).
- أظهرت نتائج البحث أهمية تضمين جميع قيم المواطنة في مناهج المواد الاجتماعية في المرحلتين: المتوسطة والثانوية.
اتفق موجهو المواد الاجتماعية ومعلموها على أهمية قيم المواطنة بدرجة عالية.
وبناءً على نتائج البحث قدمت مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات في مجال مناهج المواد الاجتماعية بغرض تطويرها، وأهمية تضمين قيم المواطنة بها، وإعادة النظر في أهداف كتب مناهج الاجتماعيات ومحتواها.

The objective of the research is to determine the desired values of citizens which should be included in the curricula of the social subjects for the students of the intermediate and secondary standards from grade 6 to grade 12, from the point of view of the teachers of social subjects and the instructors. The sample of the study consisted of (143) teachers and mentors. There were (52) technical supervisors and teachers (91) teachers. The research was based on a descriptive analytical approach to determine the desired values of citizens which should be included in the curricula of the social subjects. A list of the values of citizens was prepared while ensuring its validity and consistency to achieve the objective of the research. The statistical averages, standard deviations, T-test and ANOVA were used in the statistical treatments.
In light of the analysis of the date of the research and its findings, it was found that:
A list of the desired values of citizens consisting of 68 values was specified and divided into eight main axes such as the values of citizens (social, civil, scientific, ethical, religious, political, economic, and environmental).
The findings of the research showed the importance of including all the values of citizenship in the curricula of social subjects of the intermediate and secondary grades.
The mentors and the teachers of the social subjects agreed to the importance of values of citizenship. Based on the results of the research, a number of recommendations and proposals were made in the field of curriculum for social studies for the purpose of developing them, and the importance of incorporating the values of citizenship in them, and reviewing the objectives and content of social curricula books.
