تناولت الدراسة (دور الجامعة في تعزيز الأمن الفكري ومواجهة تحديات العولمة) (دراسة ميدانية بجامعة جنوب الوادي)، وهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الجامعة في تعزيز الأمن الفكري في ضوء تحديات العولمة، وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الملائم لطبيعة الدراسة، كما صممت الباحثة استبانة اشتملت على سبعة محاور رئيسية تتعلق بدور الجامعة في تعزيز الأمن الفكري في ضوء تحديات العولمة، وقد تم تطبيق الاستبانة على عينة من طلاب وطالبات كليات جامعة جنوب الوادي (الكليات النظرية – الكليات العملية) بلغت 550 فرداً. وقد توصلت الباحثة إلى عدة نتائج كان من أهمها: (1) دور عضو هيئة التدريس في تعزيز الأمن الفكري لم يكن على المستوى المطلوب نحو الطلاب. (2) هناك ضعف في الدور الذي تقوم به المناهج والمقررات الجامعية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري. (3) أن هناك ضعف في الدور الذي تقوم به الأنشطة الجامعية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري. (4) اتفاق الشباب الجامعي على ضرورة اهتمام البحث العلمي بموضوعات بالأمن الفكري. (5) هناك شبه إجماع من الطلاب على قلة دور الجماعة في خدمة المجتمع عامة وفيما يتعلق بالأمن العام في المجتمع خاصة.
The study (the university's role in promoting intellectual security and meet the challenges of globalization (a field study at the University of South Valley), this study aimed to recognize the role of the university in promoting intellectual security in light of the challenges of globalization, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical method appropriate to the nature of the study and researcher designed questionnaire included seven major themes concerning the role of the university in promoting intellectual security in light of the challenges of globalization, the questionnaire has been applied to a sample of students of the faculties of the University of South Valley (theoretical colleges - colleges operation) stood at 550. Researcher has produced several results was the most important: 1- the role of a faculty member in promoting intellectual security was not at the required level to students. 2- There is weakness in the role played by the university curricula and courses in promoting intellectual security. 3- that there is weakness in the role played by the university activities in promoting intellectual security. 4- Young university agreement on the need for attention to scientific research topics related to intellectual security. 5- There is almost a consensus of the students on the university's role in the lack of public and community service in relation to public security in a private community.
