|a تعاظم دور مجتمع المعلومات في العديد من المجالات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وذلك للدور الاستراتيجي الحيوي الذي أصبح يمثله هذا الأخير، حيث أصبحت صناعة المعلومات في شتى المجالات مطلبا اقتصاديا وسياسيا واجتماعيا، وهو واقع حتمي فرضته آليات التحول وميكانيزمات التغير نحو المجتمع التكنولوجي، الأمر الذي أثار اهتمام العديد من الباحثين الذين أعطوا تعريفات مختلفة حول مفهوم مجتمع المعلومات، وأجمعوا على وضع مجموعة من السمات والمؤشرات الدالة على مختلف التجسدات والمظاهر التي تثبت بأننا أصبحنا تابعين إلى هذا المجتمع. وقد حاولنا من خلال هذه الورقة البحثية مساءلة مجتمع المعلومات من خلال تشريح ومناقشة هذا المفهوم وتحديد بعض الأطر التصورية لكل من الباحثين ماكلوهان وعبد الرحمان عزي، لتقديم مقاربة نظرية حول هذا المفهوم واستخداماته في المجتمع الراهن، كما تطرقنا إلى مختلف تمثلاته ضمن السياقات التي تستخدم فيها معاني ودلالات المعلومات ومختلف التحديات التي ستواجه إنسان المستقبل، وفي الأخير تم عرض أهم المؤشرات الدالة على دخول المجتمع إلى منظومة جديدة وهي المنظومة التكنو-اجتماعية.
