المستخلص: This study is conducted to identify elements of reality throughout the upholding of the events in Robinson Crusoe, and to discover the extent of reality achieved by the author through the characters in the story. To reach those objectives, a descriptive analytical method has been followed framed by two approaches, the contextual and moral ones. They deal with the setting of the story and the psychology of characters. This theoretical framework would enhance our investigation about the degree of reality projected through characters, their actions and reactions, as well as the events of the story. Consequently, the characters, the setting and the events helped progressing the sense of realism, therefore we expect to obtain realistic views over the previously mentioned elements which would support further research.
