The present research aims to know the role, which is played by Saudi woman in supporting the Saudi economy generally and family economy particularly in Al-Khajr governorate. The research problem lies in the fact that the role which is played by Saudi woman in this regard is below the desired level in spite of the potentials, energies, experiences and qualification enjoyed by Saudi woman as well as the government's efforts made to overcome the obstacles and challenges facing Saudi woman. The research will strive to achieve its objectives through the method of quantitative descriptive analysis and that is to process the secondary and preliminary data, which will be collected from its different secondary and field resources. To achieve the objectives of research, the researchers relied on quantitative descriptive approach to process the secondary and preliminary data, which will be gathered from its different secondary and field- sources. Also, the, research relied on a random sample that reached 123 individual which represent 18% of total statistical community of around 695 individual. The research produced several important results including that there are a number of important career opportunities for Saudi women in Al-Kharj governorate, the most important of which are: medical, teaching, administrative works,. Media, free professions, technical and accounting jobs, Women Beauty Parlors, social workers and women markets etc. The study- also showed that Saudi women in AI-Kharj governorate support. the family -economy in several ways like developing the positive values among their children, contribute to educate a generation that carries a great deal of these positive values as well as contribute to living expenses of family, raise awareness of investment and savings and rationalization of household consumption. Also, the results of the study showed that there are a number of obstacles which may stand in the way of activating the role of women to support the family economy like the unavailability of specialized centers with high efficiency and suitable price to accommodate the children of working women as well as the difficulty to get job due to limited opportunities. The research presented a number of mechanism and suggestions that guarantee the activation of woman's role in supporting the Saudi family economy including building a database which contains available job opportunities with focus on the opportunities showed by results of the study, making efforts to establish training & consultancy centers to rehabilitate the women who applied for jobs as it will improve their efficiencies and overcome the obstacles and problems that may prevent the activation of role of women in supporting the Saudi economy in general and the family economy in particular as demonstrated by the results of the research.
يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على الدور الذي تؤديه المرأة السعودية في دعم الاقتصاد السعودي بوجه عام والاقتصادي الأسرى على وجه الخصوص في محافظة الخرج، وتتمثل المشكلة البحثية في أن الدور الذي تؤديه المرأة السعودية في هذا الإطار دون المستوى المأمول في ظل ما تتمتع به المرأة السعودية من إمكانات وطاقات وخبرات ومؤهلات في إطار ما تبذله الدولة من جهود لتذليل العقبات ومواجهة التحديات التي تواجهها المرأة السعودية... ولتحقيق أهداف البحث فقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي الكمي وذلك لمعالجة البيانات الثانوية والأولية التي سيتم تجميعا من مصادرها المختلفة الثانوية والميدانية، واعتمد البحث على عينة عشوائية منتظمة بلغ قوامها 123 مفردة تمثل نحو 18% من إجمالي المجتمع الإحصائي البالغ نحو 695 مفردة. وتوصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج الرئيسة من بينها أن المرأة السعودية في محافظة الخرج متاح لها عدد من الفرص الوظيفية الهامة أهمها: مهن الطب والتدريس والأعمال الإدارية والإعلام والمهن الحرة والوظائف الفنية التقنية والمحاسبية والاتصالات والمشاغل النسائية والأخصائيات الاجتماعيات والأسواق النـسائية وغيرها، كما تبين أيضا أن المرأة السعودية في محافظة الخرج تدعم الاقتصاد الأسري عن طريق عدد من المحاور الهامة من بينها تنمية القيم الإيجابية لدى أبنائها والمساهمة في تربية جيل يحمل قدرا كبيرا من هذه القيم الإيجابية وكذلك المساهمة في نفقات الأسرة والمعيشة ورفع الوعي الاستثماري والادخاري وترشيد الاستهلاك العائلي، كما تبين، أيضا من نتائج البحث أن هناك عددا من المعوقات التي قد تحول دون تفعيل دور المرأة في أداء دورها الهادف إلى دعم الاقتصاد الأسري من بينها عدم وجود مراكز متخصصة ذات كفاءة عالية وسعر مناسب تستوعب أطفال العاملات، وكذلك صعوبة الحصول على الفرص الوظيفية المناسبة مع محدودية هذه الفرص ووضع البحث عددا من الآليات والمقترحات الكفيلة بتفعيل دور المرأة في دعم الاقتصاد الأسري السعودي من بينها تأسيس قاعدة بيانات تتضمن الفرص الوظيفية المتاحة مع التركيز على الفرص المتاحة التي أظهرتها نتائج الدراسة، مع السعي نحو تأسيس مراكز تدريب واستشارات تعنى بتأهيل النساء المقدمات على سوق العمل بما يرفع من درجة كفاءتهن ويؤهلهن للالتحاق بسوق العمل، مع تذليل العقبات والمشاكل التي قد تحول دون تفعيل دور المرأة في دعم الاقتصاد السعودي بوجه عام والاقتصاد الأسري على وجه الخصوص والتي أظهرتها نتائج البحث.
