تحقيقا لأهداف التنمية المستدامة، والتصدي للفقر، ودمج الاقتصاد غير الرسمي. تسعى بلدان العالم في الوقت الراهن لإشراك شرائح المجتمع خاصة الفقيرة والمهشمة في منظومة الاقتصاد والنظام المالي، وهذا من خلال تعميم الخدمات المالية لمختلف أفراد المجتمع حسب احتياجاتهم ومتطلباتهم بعدالة وشفافية، تجسيدا للشمول المالي. تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تحليل واقع الشمول المالي في البلدان العربية، والتطرق لأهم المعوقات والأسباب التي تحول دون تعميم الخدمات المالية في المنطقة العربية، وإبراز أهم التجارب العربية التي نجحت في تجسيد الشمول المالي، إضافة إلى البلدان التي وضعت استراتيجيات وبرامج مستقبلية لتعزيز الشمول المالي في المستقبل.
