المستخلص: La diversification économique aux Émirats arabes unis est considérée comme l’une des expériences les plus réussies aux niveaux régional et mondial, cette réussite n’était pas fortuite ou venu par hasard, mais il était le fruit d’un travail colossal et des efforts consentis étendus sur une quarantaine d'années, partant de la conviction que le pétrole est ressource naturelle tarissante susceptible d’être affectée par les fluctuations des prix et les conditions de l'offre et la demande, ce qui signifie qu’il est quasiment impossible de la considérée la seule ressource réalisatrice du développement économique durable.

The experience of the United Arab Emirates in the field of economic diversification is one of the most successful experiences at the regional and global levels. This experience is not the result of today, nor is the result of chance; it is the outcome of forty years of work and effort, based on the strong conviction of successive governments that oil is a depleted natural resource affected by oscillations and fluctuations in the prices and conditions of supply and demand in world markets and therefore can not be relied upon to achieve sustainable economic development.

يعد التنويع الاقتصادي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة من أنجح التجارب على المستوى الإقليمي والعالمي؛ فهي ليست وليدة اليوم ولا الصدفة؛ بل نتاج جهد أربعين سنة؛ وهذا انطلاقا من قناعة مفادها بأن النفط مورد طبيعي ناضب يتأثر يتذبذب أسعاره وظروف العرض والطلب؛ فلا يمكن الاعتماد عليه في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.
