المستخلص: The aim of this study is to identify the quality of life and its relation to the psychological adjustment of the visually disable people in Bahri Center for Rehabilitation of the Blind. The study also aimed at finding out the relationship between quality of life and psychological adjustment; and it also aimed to identify the differences in the quality of life according to some variables (age, educational level) The researchers used the descriptive correlational method through constructing scales of quality of life, self-concept, and psychological adjustment as tools for collecting data. The sample size was (130) disabled (96) males, (34) females where the sample was randomly selected. After the data collection it was analyzed by the statistical package for social studies SPSS: Pearson correlation coefficient, Alpha Coronbach, T test, Crosscal, and data analysis test. The study found the following results: The quality of life was high whereas the psychological adjustment of the visually disabled was low, and there are no differences in the quality of life of the visually disabled according to the variables age, educational level. And also, a correlational relationship was found between the quality of life and psychological adjustment among the visually disabled. and the researchers presented a number of suggestions for researches and recommendations on the basis of these results.

هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة نوعية الحياة والتوافق النفسي لدى المعاقين بصريا بمركز بحري لتأهيل المكفوفين. وكما هدفت معرفة الفروق في نوعية الحياة وبعض المتغيرات) العمر، المستوى التعليمي) واستخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي من خلال بناء مقاييس نوعية الحياة، ومفهوم الذات، والتوافق النفسي كأدوات لجمع المعلومات وبلغ حجم العينة (130) معاقا (96) ذكور، (34) إناث حيث تم اختيار العينة بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها بواسطة برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) معامل ارتباط بيرسون ، ألفاكرونباخ واختبار) ت) وكروسكال ويلز واختبار تحليل البيانات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية :تتسم نوعية الحياة لدى المعاقين بصريا بالارتفاع بينما يتسم التوافق النفسي بالانخفاض، لا توجد فروق في نوعية الحياة لدى المعاقين بصريا تعزى لمتغيرات) العمر ، المستوى التعليمي (توجد علاقة ارتباطية بين نوعية الحياة والتوافق النفسي لدى المعاقين بصريا. كما قدم الباحثان عددا من المقترحات والتوصيات في ضوء تلك النتائج.
