|a شهد الويب في غضون السنوات القليلة الماضية تضاعفا غير عادي في حجم المعلومات، وفي هذا السياق، يجد الباحث نفسه، من خلال البحث عن المعلومة العلمية والتقنية، أمام تحدي كبير يتمثل في الحمل الزائد في المعلومات، حيث يصعب عليه أكثر فأكثر إيجاد المعلومة المناسبة في الوقت المناسب، بالإضافة إلى معرفة ما إذا كانت تلك المعلومة التي تم الحصول عليها هي معلومة ملائمة أم لا. وبالمقابل يُعتبر البحث عن المعلومات العلمية والتقنية عبر الويب الاختيار الأمثل، من منطلق أنه يُمَّكِن الباحث من الحصول على المعلومات الموثوقة التي يحتاجها في أقل وقت ممكن. ومن أجل ذلك، عليه استعمال أدوات البحث المناسبة التي من شأنها مساعدته لإتمام هذه المهمة. وبناء على ما سبق تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى ابراز ضرورة استخدام أدوات البحث عبر الويب بغرض الرفع من كفاءة البحث عن المعلومة العلمية والتقنية ومن ثم الحصول على المعلومة الموثوقة المناسبة في الوقت المناسب

|b Over the last few years, the Internet has seen an extraordinary multiplication of information volume. In this context, the researcher finds himself facing the challenge of overloading information when he looks for the scientific and the technical information. So, this complicates finding the right information at the right moment as well as whether the information obtained is appropriate. On the other side, the research for scientific and technical information through the web is the best choice, since the researcher can obtain the reliable information he needs in the shortest possible time. To do this, he must use the appropriate research tools to help him complete this task. Based on the above, the purpose of this paper is to highlight the need to use research tools through the web in order to increase the efficiency of searching for scientific and technical information and thus obtain the appropriate reliable information at the right time.
