That prevented proper understanding of the purposes of the Koran, the study addressed some of these contemporary efforts that show how these acronyms in dealing with the Israeli and what is judgment, and cited by Ibn Kathir in his interpretation, and through selected models of some of the positions of Tvsearer Ibn Kathir. The study showed the disparity in these acronyms good selection and deletion. تتناول الدراسة المقارنة بين مناهج بعض المختصرات لتفسير الحافظ ابن كثير، في التعامل مع الإسرائيليات الواردة في هذا السفر العظيم الذي تعددت الجهود في اختصاره، لما يحتله من مكانة وقيمة علمية بين المسلمين، إلا أنه يؤخذ عليه، إيراده لكثير من الإسرائيليات والأخبار الواهية، وتعيينه لكثير مما أبهمه القرآن، وتفسيره لبعض الآيات بناء عليها. مما دعت الحاجة إلى قيام العديد من الباحثين لاختصاره بهدف إلباسه ثوباً جديداً خاليا من الخرافات والإسرائيليات. التي حالت دون الفهم الصحيح لمقاصد القرآن، وقد تناولت الدراسة بعض هذه الجهود المعاصرة التي تظهر طريقة هذه المختصرات في التعامل مع الإسرائيليات التي أوردها ابن كثير في تفسيره، وذلك من خلال مواضع مختارة. وقد أظهرت الدراسة وجود إشكالية في التعامل مع الإسرائيليات، فعلى الرغم من أن المنهج الذي قرره أصحاب هذه المختصرات من حذف الضعيف والدخيل، إلا أنهم من الناحية التطبيقية زجوا العديد منه في مختصراتهم، مما يستدعي إعادة النظر في هذه المختصرات، وتقديم مختصر لتفسير ابن كثير بصورة تكون أكثر إسهاماً في إبراز الهداية القرآنية التي تكاد تختفي بين الكم الغفير من الروايات والأسانيد والإسرائيليات والآثار، وتتوجه العناية الأولى فيه؛ الى تهذيب النفوس وغرس دوافع الخير وموانع الشر.
