The Return Marches of the Gaza Strip began on 30 March 2018 in the form of peaceful activity on 5 main locations along the Eastern border fence. Later, it became a weekly event which continues until the preparation of the present report. Here, focus is laid on the Israeli assessment of the marches according to analyses conducted by Israeli think tanks. Upon the considerable successes achieved by these marches, they are expected to witness development and investment for further gains in favour of the Palestinian interests. That could accomplished by an inclusive review of the entire current status quo of the occupied territories, aimed at re-evaluating the progress of the Palestinian issue. In addition, the Great Return Marches have become a common nation-wide subject for discussion for different powers, elites and intellectuals. They agree that this noble struggle phenomenon shall be subject to urgent critique for development and investment in a straightforward political project, to take place before the inspiring positive aspects vanish over time. It is concluded that the general shape of the marches as public struggle and peaceful civil resistance shall be maintained to cope with the necessities of a subjective, hard reality. They also need to be further stressed as an inclusive national decision which is well-coordinated. In other words, after 7 months of demonstrations on the Gazan border fence, martyrdom of over 200 Palestinians, including children, and injury of thousands of different ages, the unprecedented action shall not turn to a routine which does not affect anyone abroad. Finally, the report recommends responses which fit the spirit of the Gazan Return Marches in each of the West Bank, the territories occupied in 1948 and the diaspora in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. Such reactions would move the phenomenon to an inclusive struggle action which could move politics in faster and more significant steps, serving the interest of the Palestinian issue according to a unified political vision for these activities.
