يعد دراسة ظاهرة التذكير والتأنيث من الدراسات النحوية الهامة؛ لما لها من أثر كبير في تركيب الجملة، وهي مطلب ضروري لدى المتخصصين في الدراسات اللغوية، ولأهمية هذه الظاهرة فقد حظيت باهتمام علماء اللغة؛ وهي ظاهرة محل اتفاق بين العلماء، وكان لذلك الاهتمام ظهور جانبا من جوانب الاعجاز في القرآن الكريم؛ إذ يؤنث فيه المذكر، ويذكر فيه المؤنث، ويخبر عن أحدهما بالآخر. ساهمت هذه القضية في بيان الأسرار البلاغية للنص القرآني، وبيان أوجهه الدلالية المتنوعة، وأثر ذلك في استنباط الأحكام. وهي ظاهرة استعان بها العلماء لجمع شتات الفروع التي يبدو ظاهرها متنافرا ومخالفا للقاعدة بغرض ارجاعها للقاعدة وإخضاعها للسياق. ويعد القرن الرابع الهجري أهمية خاصة فيما يتعلق بهذا التراث اللغوي القرآني المهم؛ إذ ظهرت فيه أهم مصنفات هذا التراث كمعاني القرآن وإعرابه للزجاج والنحاس. اشتمل البحث على مقدمة ودراسة تحليلية. أولاً المقدمة وتضمنت ما يلي: - التذكير والتأنيث في اللغة والاصطلاح. - أنواع التذكير والتأنيث. - أقسام المؤنث. - الصفات التي يستوي فيها التذكير والتأنيث. - مذاهب العلماء في هذه الظاهرة. - موقف القرآن الكريم من ظاهرة التذكير والتأنيث. - موقف علماء النحو من هذه الظاهرة. ثانياً: الدراسة التحليلية وتضمنت: - تذكير وتأنيث يتعلق بالمؤنث الحقيقي. - تذكير وتأنيث يتعلق بالمؤنث المجازي. - تذكير وتأنيث يتردد بين الحمل على اللفظ أو المعنى. - تردد الكلمة لغة بين التذكير والتأنيث. - تذكير وتأنيث يتعلق بجمع التكسير. - تذكير وتأنيث يتعلق بضمير الشأن. - تذكير وتأنيث يتعلق بالعدد. ثالثا: أمثلة مرصودة من الكتب المعنية بالدراسة تضمنت على ظاهرة التذكير والتأنيث. مصادر البحث ومراجعه.
