المستخلص: Results: 1- The population increased from 72.6 million in the 2006 census (37.1 million males, 35.5 million females) to 94.8 million in 2017 (48.8 million males, 45.9 million females), an increase of 22.2 million, about (30.6%) between the two censuses. 2- The age group (15-64years) represented the highest percentage of the total population (61.9%), while about two-thirds of the working-age population in 2017, and one-third of the population under the age of 15 years was 34.2%. representing the age group of 65 and above. 3- The annual population growth rate increased from 2.08% during 1986-1996 to 2.56% during 2006-2017. 4- The natural increase rate increased from 19.5% in 2006 to 21.1% in 2017. 5- The population density of Populated areas was 1394 people / km2, and this density increased to reach 50259 people / km 2 in Cairo and 3091 inhabitants / km2 in Alexandria. 6- The age dependency ratio was 54.9% in 2006, which means that every 100 people support 55 persons outside working age. The dependency ratio increased to 61.5% in 2017, an increase of 6.6% which means that every 100 people support about 62 person outside working age. 7- The Percentage of secondary school graduates rose to 29.1% in 2017 compared to 26.1% in 2006, while the percentage of those with a prep schools Decreased from 9.7% in 2006 to 8.9% in 2017. 8- The Percentage of males and females who joined and dropped was equal recording 7% in 2017, while the percentage of female non-enrolled (30.9%) for males (23%) in the same year. 9- The illiteracy rate decreased from 29.7% in 2006 to 25.8% in 2017 on the total, while the percentage of illiterate females decreased from 37.3% in 2006 to 30.8% in 2017. And the illiteracy rate in the rural areas decreased from 37.1% in 2006 to 32.2% in 2017. The lowest illiteracy rates were recorded in the urban governorates, Damietta, Aswan and some border governorates, as well as the high illiteracy rate for females in both censuses and at all governorates. 10- The age at first marriage increased from 28.8 years in 2006 to 30.2 years in 2016 between males and 23 years to 24.4 years for females during the same years. The average age at divorce during the period (2006-2016) increased from 37.7 years to 38.9 years between males and 31.5 years to 32.5 years for females. 11- Life expectancy at birth for males increased from 66.5 years in 2006 to 70.8 years in 2017. it also increased for females from 69.1 years to 73.6 years during the same years. 12- The mortality rate was 15.1 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2016 (19.6 deaths per 1,000 live births in urban areas compared to 11 deaths in rural areas). 13- The crude mortality rate was 6.1 deaths per 1,000 population (8.2 deaths in urban areas versus 4.5 deaths in rural areas). 14- The rate of contribution to economic activity decreased from 49.3% in 2010 to 45% in 2017. The male contribution rate is threefold the contribution of females. 15- The highest percentage of unemployed with a technical secondary education (47.6%), followed by unemployed with University and postgraduate education (34.0%), and the lowest percentage of unemployed with Secondary or Azhar secondary school (0.6%). 16- The percentage of Population with functional difficulties (5 years and over) who have difficulties (from large to absolute) was 2.72% among males compared to 2.48% among females. 17- The difficulty of walking or climbing stairs is the most difficult in the age group (60 and above), where it reached 9.86% for females compared to 6.77% for males. While the lowest percentage is in the age group (15-24 years), 1.6% for males compared to 1.1% for females and in general it is noted that the percentage of those who have higher difficulties between males than females, in general, it is noted that percent of male suffered from difficults is higher than of females, as what was expected the highest percent is among students of intellectual education (24.7% for males compared to 23.34% for females),followed by illiterate (6.36% for males versus 5.2% for females). 18- The percentage of beneficiaries of health insurance was 50.9% (54.7% for males and 46.8% for females) at the total level while 52.7% in urban areas, compared to 50.3% in rural areas. 19- 65.4% of the total population use mobile and the ratio of users of computers and the Internet, both at the total or the place of residence in (urban - rural) the percentage of male users of all technology higher than females.
