المستخلص: موضوع هذا المقال المرسوم: "نقد الأشرف لتاريخ الاستعمار الفرنسي لإعادة كتابة التاريخ الوطني" هو الإجابة عن مشكلتين تتعلق بكتابة تاريخ الجزائر.
الأولى: تاريخ المستعمر الذي وضع في خدمة المشروع الاستعماري، هذا الإنتاج التاريخي الذي يمكن وصفه بالاستعماري يعكس الإيديولوجيا التي وُلدت من الهيمنة السياسية والاستغلال الاقتصادي.
الثانية: ولادة تاريخ وطني في الجزائر، أين أصبح التاريخ ميدان كفاح مثل الميادين الأخرى ضد النظام الاستعماري.
هذا التوجه الجديد تأكد مع الدراسات الأولى، مع امبارك الميلي، توفيق المدني وعبدالرحمن الجيلالي، وقبلهم الحفناوي وبوليفة.
كان مصطفى الأشرف المكمل والمتمم لهذا التيار الوطني، وكان من بين الأوائل الذين فهموا مساهمة التاريخ في الحركة الوطنية ومشاركته في تشييد المجتمع الجزائري بعد الاستقلال.

Le sujet en question dans cet article intitulé : "critique de l’histoire coloniale française par M.Lachraf pour une réécriture de l’histoire nationale.
"Et de répondre à deux problems concernant l’écriture de l’histoire de l’Algérie:
1er: L’histoire du colonisateur: qui a été mis au service de l’entreprise coloniale cette production historique que l’on peut qualifier de coloniale reflète cette idiologie née de la domination politique et de l’exploitation économique.
2eme: La naissance d’une histoire nationale en Algérie ou il sera un domaine de combats comme les autres domaines contre l’ordre coloniale.
Cette orientation nouvelle s’affirme des les premiers essais avec Moubarek Elmili, Toufik Elmadani et Abderrahmane El Djilali et avant eux Elhafnaoui et Boulifa.
Mostafa Lachraf était le continuateur de ce courant nationaliste, il était l’un des premiers à avoir compris la contribution de l’histoire pour le mouvement nationale et son apport postindépendances dans l’édifications de la nouvelle société Algérienne.

The subject of this article entitled: “criticism of the best French colonial history” for rewriting national history” is the answer to two questions related to writing the history of Algeria.
First, the history of the coloniser, placed at the service of the colonial project. This historical production, which can be described as colonial, reflects the ideology generated by political hegemony and economic exploitation.
Second: The birth of national history in Algeria, where history became a field of struggle and combat like other fields against the colonial regime.
This new orientation was confirmed with the first studies, with Mebarek El-Mili, Tawfiq Al Madani and Abdulrahman Al Jilali, and before them Al-Hafnawi and Boulifa.
Mustafa Al-Ashraf was the complement of this national trend. He was among those who understood first the contribution of history to the national movement and its participation in the construction of Algerian society after independence.
