تناولت الدراسة عرضا لخلفية البحث وأهدافه، ثم تعرضت لأهمية البحث وحدوده، كما حددت منهجية البحث في ضوء الإطار النظري، ومصطلحات البحث، وتناولت الدراسات المرتبطة بالوشم، ثم فيما بعد تناولت الدراسة تعريف للوشم من خلال المعاجم المختلفة وبعض التعريفات المتنوعة للفنانين وعلماء الاجتماع. وأوضحت التعريف الإجرائي للباحثة، ثم تناولت عرضا تاريخيا لفنون الوشم من حيث نشأة الوشم ومراحل تطوره على مر العصور قديما وحديثا، بداية بالعصر البدائي، ثم الوشم عند الهنود، والوشم عند اليابانيون، والوشم في أوروبا وأمريكا ثم الوشم الافريقي، حيث الوشم في جنوب افريقيا، ثم تستعرض الدراسة أنواع الوشم واستخداماته، وطرق دقه وازالته، وعلاقة بالجسد حيث الاستفادة من معطيات فنون الوشم في إثراء مجال التصميم النسجي، لما لها من تأثير على تغير أشكال الوشم فلم تعد تقتصر على الأشكال الهندسية، بل تطورت تدريجيا إلى أن أصبحت لوحات فنية على الجسد الإنساني، فنجد أن الجسد يعكس السياق الثقافي والفني لبيئة الفنان، وينقل لنا الرموز والزخارف التي تغطي أسطح الأعمال الفنية بهذا المجتمع، كما يعكس التقنيات الفنية المرتبطة بتعامل الجسد مع البعد الحضاري لهذا المجتمع. وتستعرض الدراسة العديد من أنواع فنون الوشم منها (الوشم التجميلي، الوشم التعبيري، الوشم الطبي، الوشم المؤقت، والوشم بغرض التمييز وتحديد التبعية)، ثم تعرض الدراسة بالتطبيق العملي بعض التصميمات النسجية المستوحاة من عناصر الوشم، ثم تستعرض الدراسة نتائج البحث وتوصياته، والمراجع العربية والأجنبية.
The study dealt with the background of the research and its objectives, and then the importance of the research and its limits, and then the research methodology was also defined in light of the theoretical framework, research terms, and studies related to tattoo art. Also, the study dealt with the definition of tattoos through different dictionaries and some different definitions of artists and sociologists, then explained the procedural definition of the researcher, and dealt with a historical exhibition of the arts of tattoo in terms of the emergence of tattoos and stages of development over the ages of old and recent. Beginning with the primitive era, such as tattooing at the Indians, tattoos at the Japanese, tattoos in Europe and America, then African tattoos, where tattoos in South Africa. The study also reviews the types and uses of tattoos, the methods of accuracy and removal, and the relationship between it and the human body where the benefit of the data of tattoo arts in enriching the textile design, Because of their impact on the changing forms of tattoo is no longer limited to geometric shapes, but gradually evolved to become paintings on the human body. The body reflects the cultural and artistic context of the artist's environment and conveys to us the symbols and decorations that cover the surfaces of the works of art in this society, it also reflects the technical techniques associated with body interaction with the cultural dimension of this society. The study reviews many types of tattoo arts including (cosmetic tattoos, expressive tattoos, medical tattoos, temporary tattoos, tattoos for the purpose of discrimination and identification of dependency, Then the practical application of some designs inspired by tattoo elements, then the study review the results and recommendations of the research, and the Arab and foreign references.
