هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف (الخجل الاجتماعي لدى طالبات كليات التربية/ جامعة الأنبار وعلاقته ببعض المتغيرات)؛ وذلك وفقا لمتغيري التخصص الدراسي والمرحلة الدراسية؛ وقد تكونت عينة البحث من (216) طالبة من طالبات المرحلتين (الأولى والرابعة) من كليتي التربية للعلوم الصرفة والتربية للعلوم الإنسانية/ جامعة الأنبار؛ وقد أعد الباحثون مقياسا للخجل الاجتماعي تكون من (20) فقرة ذات الخمسة بدائل (دائما، غالبا، أحيانا، نادرا، أبدا)، وقد تم التحقق من ثباته بطريقة ألفا كرونباخ وقد بلغ (0.86)؛ وبعد تطبيق المقياس على العينة أظهرت النتائج: *امتلاك طالبات كليات التربية سمة الخجل بشكل عام. *لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الخجل الاجتماعي بين طالبات كليات التربية وفق متغير التخصص الدراسي (علمي، إنساني). *يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الخجل الاجتماعي بين طالبات كليات التربية وفق متغير المرحلة الدراسية (الأولى، والرابعة)، لصالح المرحلة الأولى.
