المستخلص: تعد العتبات النصية أو المتعاليات بابا مهما في الدراسات النقدية خاصة السيميائية إذ تمكن الدارس من سبر أغوار المتن وفك شفراته من خلال كشف شبكة العلاقات التناصية التي تحكمه ويأتي في مقدمة هذه العتبات العنوان باعتباره العتبة الأولى التي يتوقف عندها القارئ والدارس على حد سواء إلى جانب الغلاف لأنه نص مواز يترسخ في ذهن المتلقي ويعتبر أيقونة دالة على الكتاب ككل، وكلما كانا (العنوان والغلاف) أكثر إغراء كانا عاملا نجاح الكتاب وهو ما أردنا أن نبينه من خلال الرواية السيرية "سيرة المنتهي... عشتها كما اشتهتني" للروائي الجزائري واسيني الأعرج.

Text thresholds or highpoints represent an important door for critical studies, especially semiotic, as they enable the student to explore the depth of the text and decipher its codes by uncovering the web of intertextual relationships that governs it. At the forefront of these thresholds comes the title which is regarded to be the first threshold at which both the reader and the student stop, aside from the cover, because it is a parallel text that is rooted in the mind of the recipient and is considered an icon that is indicative of the book as a whole. The more tempting the title and cover are, the more they are factors for the success of the book. This is what we wanted to show through the biographical novel “The ultimate biography … I lived it like it desired for me to” by the Algerian novelist Waciny Laredj.

Les seuils textuels ou le para-texte peuvent être considérés comme l'une des plus importantes approches dans les études critiques, notamment celles relatives à la sémiotique étant donné que le chercheur peut y pénétrer en investissant les très sombres profondeurs, afin de démanteler, de décrypter et de dévoiler le réseau des relations intertextuels gérées et régies par ce para-texte. Nous voyons nettement s'illustrer aux abords de ces seuils, le titre, parce qu'il est la première marche qui interpelle le lecteur et le chercheur au même pied d'égalité, sans oublier la couverture, qui se considère parallèlement comme un texte. Ce dernier se marque par un ancrage dans l'esprit de celui qui le reçoit, et c'est ainsi qu'elle se considère en tant qu'indicatrice sur l'oeuvre. Toutefois, il faut dire que les deux (le titre et la couverture), plus ils sont attrayants, plus ils constituent un facteur de réussite à l'oeuvre; et c'est justement ce nous tenterons à démontrer à travers l'oeuvre".
