| 520 | |b In order to mark detachment from the Western model, Algerian writers are most likely using orality and both cultural and identity traditions as means for that purpose. The novel ‘The tribe’s honor” announces the novelist’s will to recourse to orality as a writing method. This initiation story informs us about things on ourselves and transmits not only knowledge but also know-how and interpersonal skills. In sum, it is a vision of the world. It is question of a real oral pedagogy which conveys teachings, sentences, maxims, and proverbs. All the elements mentioned here are part of the oral tradition which allows transmitting historical knowledge in addition to moral and religious precepts. | 520 | |d L’oralité et la tradition culturelle et identitaire deviennent pour les écrivains algériens les moyens sûrs de la démarcation par rapport au modèle occidental. L’honneur de la tribu de Rachid Mimouni affiche d’emblée sa volonté de recourir à l’oralité comme modalité d’écriture. Ce récit initiatique nous apprend des choses sur nous- même et nous transmet un savoir, un savoir- faire et un savoir- être, c’est-à-dire une vision du monde. Il s’agit d’une vraie pédagogie orale qui véhicule des enseignements, des sentences, des maximes et des proverbes, ces éléments font partie de la tradition orale qui permet la transmission de connaissances historiques et de préceptes moraux et religieux. Rachid Mimouni reprend la tradition orale de la littérature arabe des Mille et une nuits et du Coran comme moyen pour reconstituer l’identité culturelle algérienne arabo-musulmane avec une volonté d’originalité et de renouvellement. | ||
