المستخلص: This paper is an attempt to highlight the impact of international commercial arbitration in view of the development of its rules and regulations in civil legal jurisdictions. For the intentions of this paper, this term has been used in the context of arbitration practice and procedures that are applied to resolve commercial disputes involving parties from different, backgrounds. This paper will further explore the effect of international commercial arbitration practice by considering practical demonstrations of its impact on civil law countries. This paper will also compare between the civil law and common law by discussing the topic of taking evidences and the standard of proof in international commercial arbitration.
