المستخلص: Community service is one of the core functions of the university. The relationship between the university and society is close. Whenever we want to talk about the university, we need to talk about society, and vice versa, whenever we talk about society, we talk about the university as the most important institution in society. Through this article, we will describe the various functions and objectives of the university, and reveal the reality of achieving the objectives and functions of the university and clarify the function of serving the community and its importance and fields. We will explain the role of the university professor in community service and the reality of that service and the most important obstacles that prevent the university professor from performing his role in community service, reaching the most important suggestions and methods for the growth and development of the professor to serve the community.

تعتبر خدمة المجتمع من الوظائف الأساسية للجامعة. فالعلاقة بين الجامعة والمجتمع علاقة وثيقة، فكلما أردنا الحديث عن الجامعة استدعى ذلك الحديث عن المجتمع، والعكس كذلك فكلما تحدثنا عن المجتمع جرنا الحديث عن الجامعة باعتبارها أهم مؤسسة في المجتمع. وسنبين من خلال هذا المقال وظائف الجامعة وأهدافها المختلفة، وكشف واقع تحقيق أهداف ووظائف الجامعة وتوضيح وظيفة خدمة الجامعة للمجتمع وأهميتها ومجالاتها. وسنوضح دور الأستاذ الجامعي في خدمة المجتمع وواقع تلك الخدمة واهم المعوقات التي تحول دون أداء الأستاذ الجامعي لدوره في خدمة المجتمع وصولا إلى أهم الاقتراحات والأساليب لتنمية وتطوير الأستاذ لخدمة المجتمع.

Service de communauté fonction de base de l'Université. La relation entre l'université et la communauté est une relation étroite, Et nous allons montrer à travers cet article les fonctions de l'université et de ses objectifs différents, révélant la réalité de la réalisation des objectifs et des fonctions de l'université et de clarifier la fonction au service de la communauté universitaire et de son importance et de ses champs. Et expliquera le rôle d'un professeur d'université au service de la société et la réalité de ce service et les obstacles les plus importants à la performance d'un professeur d'université pour son rôle dans le service communautaire et l'accès à la plus importante suggestions et des méthodes pour le développement d'un professeur de servir la communauté.
